Working a Wedding

I work at night as a attendant for the community center. Last week I was working a wedding. Not your everyday wedding there was 2 brides and they got married. Yes it was a gay wedding and I could not have been happier for them. I wanted to tell them I was part of their community but there were people there that knew me and my wife. The women were dressed to the 9s the men were neatly dressed. I help as much as I could to be around them. Later I told my wife about the wedding. She said " I bet you wanted to dress up and be in the party" I said Yes I did. and that was the end of that talk.

But what a beautiful wedding. To see 2 people who love each other get married and no one hating them for it.

I have seen a few weddings similar, in the days of sporting clubs and mock weddings to raise finances there were many a bride? and groom? who always seemed to be in the right role, as were the Mother? and Father? of the couple.

A lot of the guests also played the part well.

Sometimes it was a big coming out party. :-)
