Liberated-pink bikini !

Celebrating the end of summer here in Florida (hopefully)! So the family is taking a weekend at the beach and I left early with the camper to make things easier. However, being four hours ahead of the family, I took the opportunity to stroll the nearly deserted beach in my pink bikini! This is something I have always wanted to do and unless less you’ve had this opportunity, you would not understand how liberating it this is. Almost no one on the beach and those who passed me and didn’t even bat an eye. To go splash in the surf feeling so feminine is an incredible feeling. So now here I sit under my umbrella in my bikini drinking a malt beverage. I will have to cover my top soon, As I would hate to come to the beach tomorrow with a bikini top sunburn!

Lisa I am envious of you being able to spend time at the beach in a bikini..:thumbup:
I wish I had the body to do that but too many years of fast (FAT) food has taken a toll. Now I am luck to be able to wear the clothes I wear. Enjoy yourself and be happy!!:)

Lisa what a great post I couldn't wear a Bikini, but I have a great one piece bathing suit. I would love to wear on a beach. I was all set Suit (black and white) on beach bag packed, make up, wig, hands and toes polished and cute black sandals. Chicken out I was so mad at myself I'm going to do it that is on my bucket list.

I gave up on the bikini tan lines a long time ago.

I never go to the beach in drab anyway, nor do I not wear a t shirt if I am in drab.

Lisa, that is awesome. I love to lay out at the beach. Pick a quiet spot. Usually just bikini bottoms, some times i will wear pink, oil and a good book. So cal still has summer weather and my tanlines are strong!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the beach in a bikini. I have SPF 70 sunscreen in the car just in case I find a need to be out in the sun. And a supply of DEET...

Post script. I was getting out of the shower yesterday morning and looked in the mirror- I actually had (faint) bikini tan lines! I guess the wife didn’t notice or just didn’t want to see them! I like the look! Maybe next summer.

When I was younger I would go to the beach in my coverup with a red bikini underneath. Then lay out a blanket and sun bath. And in Michigan you do have a lot days you can do it so everyone was there.
