Today I had some free time and decided to dress, panties, silky brallet with camisole, nutral gay stripped V neck tshirt, skinny girl jeans and black ballet flats with no socks. No wear special to go just got in the car and started driving. I live on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and wound up on a popular stretch of beach, parked and sat on a bench watching all the women in their bikinis and short shorts and summer blouses. Sat drinking my bottle of water just enjoying the view and wishing I were young again and could.look like them.

After about an hour I left and headed home with pictures of.my beach view tucked away in my mind. The fiminity was beautiful.

Remembered I needed to pick up a few thing for supper an passing a Walmart decided to stop their instead of the usual market I use since it was on my way home. Talk about a 180 degree change from the beach.
MOST of the women there, uncombed hair, no makeup, flipflops, and cloths in tatters and ill fitting. Even saw one in male boxer shorts and and another actually wearing her pajamas. The men were dressed the same sloppy and, well just and.

I turned around and left and went to my regular store. Keeping memories of beach to think about while sipping on my bourbon. Trying like h___ to get the picture of Walmart out of head. It's hard to unseen somethings.

It's a shame everything has gotten so casual. People have forgotten how to dress. Glad my Mama taught me right. Just my observation for the day.

You have to remember, that plenty of women have made a huge point of telling men that they don't want to be sex symbols, and don't want to be judged on their appearance. And this is the result: non sexy women. They haven't forgotten how to dress; they simply can't be bothered, especially if they're married, and being physically attractive either is too much trouble, gathers them nothing in return for that trouble (husband ignores her one way or the other), or they actively try to look unappealing because they feel it is a source of irritation. We don't get it; because very, very few men are hounded by women (attractive or not) for sex. While they will get all dolled up when they want attention, they simply do the reverse when they don't want to be bothered. And it works, in spades.
"MOST of the women there, uncombed hair, no makeup, flipflops, and cloths in tatters and ill fitting. Even saw one in male boxer shorts and and another actually wearing her pajamas." as you've noticed. No one wants to look.
Men? Men have been sloppy ever since the seventies, especially with the advent of the 'leisure suit', which began the decline in EVER dressing up.
When in drab, I virtually always wear nice dress clothes, and women notice.

There was a thread recently that basically said “if you need a boost of confidence in your presentation, just to go peopleofwalmart.com and you’ll get it.” This reminds me of that.

Just this past weekend I was checking out a middle aged lady across a museum parking lot while leaving my car and she caught me doing it and smiled at me. I smiled back.

Most of the women around here also fit your description of women there....and not just at Walmart.. Unbelievable and sad. Even when I “dress down” to blend in, I still stand out...which is not what I want. Have you flown recently? Flying Walmart.

Watching the average woman of America today, I have learned that if you just take a modicum of care and just a bit of preparation you can look better than many GG's.
This is very important in blending when you adventure out in public.

Back in the fifties when people traveled on an airplane, most ladies wore dresses and the men coat and tie. Now look at the average passenger. To be fair, airplane seats in the fifties were wide and comfortable, not like the cattle car variety today.

If you really want a front row seat, fly Frontier or Spirit!

Never again.

Sure but in the fifties men and women dressed that way everywhere they went.

I am girl watching all the time, and not in a pervy way – looking at what they are wearing, their hairstyle, footwear, mannerisms etc. I volunteer at a museum one day a week, was away at a holiday resort last week, and shopping in town, even at the DIY store, I notice the GGs and take in what they wear - and am often very envious. And as most people here recognise, almost anything goes.

Also find people dress better in the fifties. Unless you work in office, folks dress sloppy and no uniformity . I also watch people discretely when I go out in public.

You need to go to a few different venues to get a feel of what is appropriate attire for different places.

I was out last night and saw many beautifully made up ladies walking about town. There was one woman in particular that caught my eye. She has it all going for her. Perfect skin, great body, beautiful face, and of course her date night outfit was perfect. I was sooo envious!

Giggle…. I love judging other girls looks. I usually trying to figure out how I can improve the look they are after! Yep... I get it - how hard is it to run a brush through your hair! I don't mind no makeup as long as you have a decent complexion. Floppies are ok as long as you have a good pedi. I'd have to see the clothing chooses but IMO sexy girls can make sake look good...
