I'm sorry, I'm a skirt and top gurl. I only have a couple of dresses. A black velvet dress and a black sweater dress. Oh there might be one or two more, but I'm not sure. I still like them on others but as I said, I like skirts and tops...BJ

Obviously my favorite types of dresses are wedding gowns and formal gowns, either prom or bridesmaid dresses, preferably tea-length or floor-length ballgown style...

I also love dresses with full skirts, like '50s style dresses, or many of the '80s styles I used to wear so often -- preferably below-the-knee length, but I have worn some knee and above the knee dresses as well...

I also like blouse and skirt outfits, but I love dresses a little bit more

What gurl could not be without but that little black dress but in my case size 24 tall (yeah they make em that big). And my fave is a 1959's June Cleaver original, I would love to do house work all day like she did and look like I just left the dressing room. Beaver you dinner is getting cold !

I really prefer short skirts and tops but have one dress in particular I really like. It has a full skirt and half-sleeves. It happens to be one of my wifes dresses she cannot get into now. She says she is jealous because it fits me and looks so good on me.

I love dresses that have strings that you tie in the back into a bow, if you have the figure for them they make the dress snug up against your waist and accentuate your bust and hips, I love that! Windy

I only have a few, but my favorite is a red, long-sleeve, turtleneck, knee-length sweater dress. I love how it looks and feels on me () and I wear it with 4" black patent pumps. I'd like to get a wide leather belt to accentuate the waistline.

If you ever get chance, watch the UK "Little Britain" series.

In that series David Walliams and Matt Lucas portray two crossdressers who are, to be not very tactful, crap at it. They try so hard to be "we are two ladies" in falsetto voices that they attract everybodies attention. They also wear Edwardian dresses because that's what ladies do when they go out, don't they ? :cheeky:

My type of dress?

Long, pencil skirts, in denim. With a frilly blouse.

Flouncy gypsy skirt with a white cotton top. With a belt.

Just above the knee, tight, leather. With black hose.

Remember pinafore dresses ? I love them. Pity they are not in fashion now. Had one in shiny PVC. Wore it with a black long sleeved top.

In other words...any type :D

ankle length black sheeth dress:D

PinkCDgirl34B
03-20-2006, 10:23 PM
Sheeth-like, A-Line, above the knee, satin with a subtle floral background, cap sleeves, tee shirt collar, button on back of neck, silky smooth thick satiny fabric. I have one and I really need a digital camera. It's such a pretty shiny dress to show off legs. The only way to improve it would be making the skirt part more poufy with crinoline. As it is, it just sort of drapes every contour.

A great week to all.

Sitting here wearing my first dress!!! The wife suggested that I get a new outfit so we could play. I bought the little black dress, a pair of "C" inserts, matching bra and panties, new pair of shiny black stockings, and a beautiful pair of 5" open toe heels. She just went upstairs for the night and didnt even suggest I get undressed!!!! She did though help with the zipper before she went upstairs. Can you say sitting here in proverbial CD heaven?

It is a red, snap front, above the knee dress. I can open the snaps at the top to show, What isn't there, or at the bottom to show off my legs and/or stockings.

It is really very comfortable. In fact, I am wearing it now!

To my eye, dresses require, if not an hourglass figure, at least a waistline.

I do not have an hourglass figure. I have a tree trunk figure.

So I wear skirts.

03-25-2006, 03:42 PM
Same with me. I'm 6' in panty hose, and just look much better in a skirt and blouse. Although I do have a couple dresses I've had to take in at the waist line to fit correctly. Actually buying a little large to fit on top, then playing suzy seamtress to fit my figure.

Will have to watch it, noticed it was on but wasn't sure what it was.Love British comedy, crossdressing quite the common thing in it.
The two writers/characters in the Little Britain serias are David Walliams and Matt Lucas.

Matt Lucas is gay, while Walliams is a crossdresser in real life...in a TV program about them & their lives I saw him with his family looking through photo albums. From their conversation and comments from his sister it seems that he was a crossdresser from an early age, with the full consent and support of his family. Lucas and Walliams are both very funny, charming and clever people. Only they could get away with some of the topics explored in Little Britain.

All these dream dresses! I learned to make dresses from scratch - starting from a sketch. All my dresses are handsewn, and after wearing the 4 times, I usually give them away to other trannies. see Http://www.jackierenton.tvheaven.com . my website where I keep a record of my work.
I make my designs as "tranny cut". that is; they are made to fit the male form. They are especially good on the taller girls. I shall be going to St Audries week in May and will take a wardrobe of 16 dresses. ------ A girl needs choice you know Jackie

I like a dress with a zipper in the back. The kind you have to really struggle with to zip up by yourself. Once it's on it's on and you know that if someone drops by you can't get out of it any easier than you got into it.

Adds that extra little thrill. ;)
