Last Wednesday I went for a mental evaluation at the local VA. After the typical questions of are you depressed? Do you sleep well? Taking any drugs for mental/emotional disorders?. We finally got down to my desire to crossdress. She (pshyciatrist) asked me how I felt about dressing . I told her it makes me happy, I don't get upset over silly things and it just seems right by me. Plus i enjoy wearing skirts, dresses over mens cloths and this goes for under garments as well. I asked her how society seems to feel about it. Basically she told me This! cossdressing is becoming more each day. More people are doing it to some degree and i should not worry about what other people think. She threw in the 'he who is without let him cast the first stone" And do not judge others. Anyway, it turned out good and she emphasized that c rossdressing is not a sickness. Anyway I feel a whole lot better about myself now when I do dress. I told her during the session that I was underdressed. She asked if that meant was I wearing men's things or that I was just not wearing a skirt or dress. I told her the latter. She thanked me for letting her know what underdressing meant. That was pretty much the end of session which lasted about 45 min.
