While this format has been really helpful for me in the past couple weeks, I find myself wanting more intimate interactions. Does anyone here have a place where they chat, on a friend level? Post and reply just lacks something, I want to share more!

Well, I have a couple of girls I message directly here. Also have a friend or two that has my number and we just text directly.

This isn’t a dating site so it’s not really designed to set people up with 1-on-1 interactions. We are not a monolith so you’ve kinda gotta figure out who on these forums is like minded. If you plan on actually physically interacting with anyone, then finding girls geographically close will help too.

Use the PM facility

Do as Bobbie says, PM is a great asset.

What I am feeling is the replay to messages is slower that a chatroom situation. Even if two of us are both online ( I am not often) we may not see each other post. I wondered if anyone else felt this way and how they deal with it.

PM is the way! PM to get started, and you have to switch to texting or skype or real phone for real time chat. Ask to be friends, say why, then see if you have enough in common, say what you want- etc. This board is more or less a time lapse chat! You can share pretty intimate thoughts here in a tasteful manner.

Facebook is where I chat with real time replies.

Someone nearby did the PM thing with me, and now we communicate using text messages. That could work for you, but expect to spend some time getting to know each other before phone numbers are exchanged.
