"Love" is a word I use frequently when in girl mode and mood, as I make a post or respond to one. Many of you girls do, also. However, In other non-forum emails I write, I find I use the word "like", even though I may be in girl mode when writing. Do any of you girls tend to do the same?
What other 'forum, feminine' words might you change when writing emails off-forum?

Well I wouldn’t use the word adorable or cute are two that come to mind right away.

Well, I probably would avoid using the word "cockup" while en femme...

In my experience, women seem to use the words love and hate more freely than men. Such as "I love your shoes. I love your dress." Etcetera. Or "Your legs look are so much nicer than mine. I hate you." But then the usage is not as fully charged as the words could be. So the "I hate you" translates more accurately as "I'm jealous of your legs"
I guess it's another example of how women have more emotional freedom than men. If a man throws such emotionally charged words around, he's asking for trouble, because there isn't room for a muted translation.

Jenny, I am much more likely to use the word "love" in femme mode and on this forum than I am in male mode or other places. My other favorite word: lovely.

It's all about context. Tell another man that you love his adorable shoes, and you're sure to get a weird look.
Tell another man that you love your newborn child, or that you find a certain girl singer adorable (as I did about Linda Ronstadt when I saw her sing Long, Long Time on Bobby Darin's show here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJWEVTHRPXI), and all is good.

I do change the vocabulary to suit the situation.
I do not sign emails here with love but I do use other meaningful greetings.
I may love your dress but I don't necessarily love you. :-)

I find that use of "love" is slowly creeping into the male lexicon.

Hmmmmm... I don't think the word "comfy" has ever made it into my make lexicon

I find myself when I'm talking about a dress on here or a picture I say I love those heels, dress or whatever. In male mode talking to a GM I might say the same word Love in a sentence like I love fishing or deer hunting. Just last night I told a hunting partner that even when I'm sitting in my tree stand I just love the quiet and nature wether I shoot anything or not. I love the outdoors.
On here I find myself using words lovely and love more in Femme mode.

I don't want to diminish the word so I save its usage for meaningful things like beer.

I often "love" my outfit, my boots, my figure, ice cream, ribs, and my car. When it comes to people I'm careful how I use the word love.
And, it has no bearing on how I'm dressed!

My vocabulary as Joanne is definitely different, softer and I guess somewhat sweeter. Not nearly as harsh. I like who I am as Joanne.
