As I was going threw tattoo designs today I had a smile on my face!

My Family own every other parlour in the state!
Yet I'm looking for an artist!
Being individual is so important!

Oh no! You mentioned tattoos! Get ready for the pearl-clutchers to come out of the woodwork to tell you how tacky and trashy they are.

I have a few tats, personal I prefer female artist, they do finer line work and are more detail orientated. Just got a small rose on my back side cheek.

I know, you just don't want to keep it in the family. :-)

Tattoos are the poor mans art. But as I was looking at some of the prices for that art work, you so sure can't be poor to have it done. (At least in my area.) What others think is not important, what is important is the cleanliness of the parlor and the artist who does the work as well as their skills set. It is your body and coming from a family that owns most of the parlors in your state you know the risks. Do what you want and enjoy the artwork.

Ha! Called it. Can’t be a thread about tattoos without at least one person who just can’t help themself from saying something negative. You say “poor man’s art” I say DiVinci never tried art on a canvas that couldn’t be scrapped, and moved and stretched when he tried to paint on it.

I'm not planning on getting a tattoo, but my wife has the most beautiful art across top of her back, depicting the 4 kids we have between us as roses, and cherub's for her two little ones she lost.Just because I'm not into them doesnt mean I can't still admire the beauty in them

I was not being negative at all, Tattoos have long been considered the poor mans art.
I have seen some extremely wonderful art work on the backs and chests of people. So don't be so negative and see just negativism every where you look.

I'll pay a grand or two and see if it's worth it! Nothing will stop the Flowers being painted on my bod, Stacy!

To each her own, but I'll never understand why a woman with lovely limbs and legs, plus a gorgeous sensual back, chest and abdomen (all anatomical parts that I would not mind having) could possibly think that permanent body art, whatever the quality or cost, is an improvement over Nature.

Those that have tattoos with a meaning I fully support, for off the shelf fashion I say think about it, those that are inebriated when the get them done that is foolish.

I met one man that had a number tattooed on his forearm, he was very proud of that......

Why? He was Jewish and he survived.

I don't have a tat..... Yet. I have been working on my own design off and on for several years. When I am done it will be a one of a kind original. Poor man's art? LOL! I guess you could call anything art and try and put a derogatory slant on it, which shows narrow minded thinking. If Picasso released his first painting today, the narrow minded would say WTF?

See how this goes then! I think that this is more femme than a brown dot on my cheek

Apologies for the sizing and cutting, they just wouldn't load, Plus I took the pics and loaded them. Better with a pencil I think?

Any response welcome!
Stacy!

JUST realised it's L to R incorrect, no big puzzle though

Nice! Your artist is a genius!. You need a good vest top and a long, flowery skirt to show it off :).

So true Rochal!
Flowers represent impermanence, and the acceptance of impermanence!
I accept that!
