I get out only once a year (wife's request). Today was the day, I look forward to it more than my b-day or Christmas. I stuck 3 more goals of my bucket list. I left from home, Put gas in the car and had lunch at a restaurant with one of my gal pals. I know these are just small things but for me it is a big step. I never thought I would ever leave from home, but the stars aligned. The only time I was nervous was right before I walked out the door. After that we went shopping at a mall. This was the most contact I have ever had, nobody looked twice. I had a stupid grim plastered on my face all day! Get out and have fun, don't waste the makeup just at home. I was having such a good time I forgot to take pictures.

Hell-o Sara,
I’m happy to hear you had such a grand time. Those simple little things you did while out aren’t that small. They’re the completely normal sort of things anyone might do on a daily basis.
Looking forward to this day more than your B-day or Christmas though?
That coulda really been a let-down if something had gone wrong.
When you wake up with that grin still on your face, be sure to thank your wife for the opportunity. If she sees how grateful you are she may reconsider that once a year thing.
Much Love,
Kristyn

Good for you. I’m sure you’re still glowing from the experience.
Going out dressed from home is huge, and putting gas in the car is something I have yet to do, and I go out virtually every week.
I hope next year you’ll remember to take some pictures, not necessarily to share, but for yourself.
As your outings are a yearly event, maybe it should have a specific name, like “Sara's night out”, or something.

Glad you had a good time. Next year you need to REALLY cut loose and go to a bar or club and party. :)

My wife is great, but she still doesn't want to see me dressed. As I was head home she called and said she was coming home sick. I told her I was head home, so she took the slow way home. I haven't changed that fast in sometime. She still wanted to know about my day out. Next up on the bucket list is the restroom (scary).

I know the feeling. I'm waiting for my wife to be gone for 3 days so I can dress up and go out again.
