No matter how often I dress, it seem when ever I look in the mirror and see how I look I get grin you couldn't pry off. I just love the change and how I feel all dolled up.
Do you get that feeling?
Sara :D

I'm happy to see someone that looks like I feel inside rather than that odd looking guy that is often looking back at me from the mirror.
How can you keep from being happy.

Not so much a Goofy grin. It's more of a Minnie grin. :heehee:

I always look at myself in the mirror when I get up and just before I walk out the door to go out. It always brings a smile to my face, They really are special moments as to who I am and how I feel about all of it, HAPPY!!!! :D

I can't recall ever seeing a goofy grin staring back at me after putting on women's clothing. I am probably trying to figure out if it makes me look fat or is the right color...

I used to but these days I just use a mirror to check for bloopers or other mistakes I make. :-)

Yeah, I would say so, and I"m not even all the way there yet (no wig or makeup yet).

Two days ago I added a cheap necklace I bought on clearance at Walmart, and I REALLY LIKED the way I look. It made me want to get to the wig and makeup even more, and see how pretty I can be.

U-m-m-m No. Mirrors are NOT friends of mine.

YES! When I dress, I have such a smile. I have found if I am in a bad mood when I get home, dressing improves my mood as well. :battingeyelashes:

Sara, I love the way I feel, not necessarily the way I look. I can grin without the need of a mirror.

No, but sometimes I think I look goofy the way I'm dressed.

I’ll just say that I am familiar with that experience. ;)

I was out of town on business this week and did some solo crossdressing after hours. Last night when I got back to my room (with a late night dinner), I sat at the little desk in my room watching myself as I ate. I NEVER do that in my day clothes. I even kept everything on much longer than I should have (I needed sleep), but I just could barely bring myself to take everything off and clean up.

I'm also becoming a selfie addict although I am nowhere near mastering that. My selfies blow. The mirror is like 100% more flattering. Dunno how that works.

Same here. I usually see a frown.

I would not say I have a funny grin when I am fully dressed or partially dressed but with makeup and wig on. But, others tell me that I look happier when I am dressed up and let the woman within come out for a while.

Especially when I try something new, grin and a little smirk. I guess I'm not the only one with that feeling.

I find it a double edged sword sometimes.
I try to present as feminine as I can in girl mode and some days the make up is perfect I have the look I am happy with but when I look in the mirror I feel bad about my weight.
I used to be able to hide it with certain styles of clothes but not anymore.
Its not the end of the world I know and women come in all shapes and sizes.
So blend I will at least thats the plan.

Not so much a grin , more a feeling of inner satisfaction that I can turn my 54 year old face in to something that reasonably resembles a females.

The first time I put on makeup and looked in the mirror, I looked at my lipstick and thought to myself, "Wow. You don't smile, do you?" But it has gotten better. The more that I pamper my true self, the more I smile about it. I wouldn't call it a grin, but it is the smile of a person who knows they have been treated with kindness.

The first time I painted my toenails with a multi-colored metallic polish all I could do was grin every time I looked down at them.
