Your French Maids Outfit - Has anyone actually seen you model it ?

These Days it seems like women are not nearly as into French Maids Outfits as Guys are so I was wondering if any of you have ever actually worn one to a costume party or in front of your significant other ?

When I asked some ladies over drinks about the maids outfits they all had a good laugh and made it clear to me that things like the ruffle butt panties and all the frills and bows were what men liked not women. So I can only imagine how women might react to a guy wearing something that Girlie that even they wouldn't wear ?

I wore my outfit in front of two people, my wife and a crossdressing friend. My wife and I bought it when we visited a store in Las Vegas that catered to the transgender over 15 years ago. I would wear it on the weekends when we cleaned the house. I'm very blessed to have a wife who not only allows me to indulge in my fetishes but is willing to help me with it. I don't know if the store is in business anymore. My friend was a foreign exchange student from Sweden. We both had a thing for lingerie. One night while we were hanging out, he admitted he really liked French Maid outfits. I surprised him by changing into my outfit which consisted of a petticoat, apron, Mary Jane block heels, black thigh high nylons, corset, breast forms and blond wig.

I spotted an outfit at Goodwill near the week of Halloween. I pulled it out to estimate the fit. I hesitated. 60 seconds later it was gone.
However, now thinking about how to make a French maid's outfit. I need hot glue, a black dress, plus a lacy slip to cut apart to make the apron, cap and lace around the hem and sleeves.
Imagine the theme for a support group meeting.

My first time out fully dressed was on Halloween and dressed as a maid, OMG the feeling of the wind going up around my stocking tops was such a rush. I knew then this was good thing. I occasionally wore the outfit around the house when I helped with the cleaning. One one occasion we spent the weekend with out best friends at a rental house. They knew I dressed, so I spend the most part of Saturday afternoon totally dressed as their french maid complete with makeup, blond wig, frilly panties, stockings with garters and 4 inch stiletto heels. They were constantly having me serve them drinks and bending over to pickup things off the floor. There was a lot more that went on but I can not post that here.

About 12 years ago, I took a picture of myself from the neck down in it and posted it on another forum as someone had asked to see it. Nothing with my face or hair in it, though. Xdress used to sell them made out of a stretchable jersey type (felt cool to the touch) material; no longer available. I've inquired with them, but never got an answer back. So I can't get any more. It came in black, pink and red. I have one of each. Like everything else in my life, once I found something that fit me, I should have purchased more, but in my insanity, of course, I figured that there must be a market for them so they would always be available. Nope. For some reason they changed the design and material. Even the XXL size doesn't fit, because the material no longer stretches at all. So once again, us big 'gals' are out of luck.

Edit: Just checked, that forum is long gone, and so, I suppose are those pictures. While someone MIGHT have them, I don't, and wouldn't remember what the file names were, anyway. So the wayback machine website probably wouldn't help.

I bought this outfit and have loved it since the first time I put it on. Wearing it out the first time was so nerve racking. I went and got a hotel room and spent waay too much time getting dressed up. By the time I did it was late so I went back to the front office and had the desk girls take pictures of me. Well they had a bar attached to the hotel and it was the night before Halloween so they asked me to go in and compete in the costume contest the next night. I said ok, knowing I didn't have the courage but left them and went out that night. I had more picture taken of me that night then I ever had prior to that outfit(not since as my nurse outfit gets all the attention now).

However, the first time I wore it in front of someone I knew was a couple years later when I had just started dating a girl and she asked me to come to her Halloween party. I said I would come but that I liked to get dressed up as a maid. She thought that was going to be the hit of the party so I anxiously awaited that night. The night of the party comes, I get dressed up to the nines, and make my way to her house. I pull in front of her house and as I'm about to knock on the door, my phone rings. She says that I shouldn't wear my costume because people started showing up the Halloween party not in costume. I tell her that I'm already at her front door and I can deal with it. She answers the door and lets me in. The laughter still echos in my mind. I didn't mind that as I know I looked good. About an hour in, she pulls me aside and says, "wow, you really went all out, I saw you were wearing frilly panties too". I confirmed to her that I was. The party ended a few hours later and it was still early, so I left and went to a costume party at a bar and won first prize.

This picture comes from one of my escapades. I like being embarrassed in this outfit so I usually stop at a few hotels and apply for "maid" positions when dressed up and ask them to take my picture. It's always entertaining the reactions I get. No offers yet though :(...oh well. Enjoy!

I bought a cheap French maid costume years ago when I was just starting to go out. I was planning to meet a Tgirl friend at a bar we meet at. As the day started I thought against it but changed my mind when getting ready. I thought I looked pretty good and wanted a picture. I new my wife did not like to see me dressed but was supportive other wise so I asked her if she would take a picture and she said sure. When she saw me she looked me up and down and smiled. Then she took a photo I said thanks and as I was leaving she said "Nice Legs" oh How I loved that. Met my friend at the Bar and it was packed with people and lots of creative costumes. It was so fun wearing the costume I received lots of compliments. I could not believe I did it, but am glad I did.

I don't have the exact type of maid outfit you're probably talking about, but I have an old-fashioned maid dress. It's based on vintage designs so it's modest and lacy and I love it! The only pictures I have of it are old and bad, but I'm thinking of digging it out of storage this spring. I always feel so elegant and refined when I wear it. :)

My hairdresser and her beauty consultant organise a quiz for charity each year. These quizzes are held in hall at a local social club and are themed, and this years is International , and people are encouraged to come in fancy dress.

This has me thinking of going as a french maid. It's kinda funny how I got into wearing a French Maid's uniform. I'm now a widower, and my late wife knew I crossdressed. She was disabled and towards the end of her life, I did everything around the house- the cooking, cleaning, and also waited on her needs. One day I was tired from doing all these things after a very long day at work as well. I asked her if she needed anything before I sat down to rest. She said, "No", but just after I had sat down to rest, she called me to get her some ice. I did so, but I told her, if she was going to use me as a Maid, then the least she could do is let me wear the uniform. To my surprise she said, " I've seen your legs--Go for it!!"
Well after she passed away , my youngest daughter was so distraught she was bordering on suicide. I made a bet with her that if she would get dressed up in a costume for Halloween to take the grandsons out trick or treating, then I would dress up in costume too. We spent over a month preparing for Halloween, and took off to visit my oldest daughter and her family. I dressed before leaving my house, so I was in full girl mode. We stopped at a supermarket to get some things for the party, and I had a line of men following my every move in the store, I never knew I could run so fast in 3" Heels! At the party I got many complements on my uniform, and one lady complemented my youngest daughter on how well my makeup looked. She lost it when my daughter replied, " I didn't do his makeup- he did it himself, then did mine!!"
Hopefully one day soon I will upgrade my membership so I can post pics of me in my French Maid's uniform!!

Halloween 2006. It was my wife’s idea (I think she doesn’t know I dress).

A friend invited us to a Halloween party on s Saturday before Halloween. We were married on Halloween, so it is an important date for us. Although we had been married for over ten years, it was the first Halloween party for us.

We decided I would go as Ben Franklin. Went to a local costume shop. Tried on the costume and my wife hated it. As we were walking out, my wife scans the aisles then stops and says “Oh Honey, Look! This would be so cute.” She pointed to “Men’s French Maid Funny Costume”. My outside voice balked, but inside I was thinking “Fun.” After a few hems and haws from me and pleading from my wife, I agreed. I then told her that if I was going to dress in drag I would not do it half ass.

After purchasing the costume, she immediately had us go to Payless to buy shoes. She wanted me to wear boots, but my calves were too large. She found a two pairs of Mary Jane heels in each of our sizes. As I was trying on the shoes, I saw a woman with her children and immediately stopped. She laughed and said it was okay as Halloween was approaching. I replied, true but I didn’t want to mess up her son.

The next weekend, my wife took me to Erotic Cabaret to buy us each a petticoat and fishnet hose. She reveled in telling the women working that we were buying stockings for me to dress as a French Maid for Halloween. Then to a party store to buy us both cheap red wigs.

When we arrived at the party, the host started laughing, and said she loved it. We mingled around and danced. Said hi to a long-time friend who didn’t recognize me. When someone toasted my outfit, I said “I'm more man than you'll ever be, and more woman than you'll ever get!” People laughed and yelled Car Wash. What surprised me was how much more comfortable women I didn’t know were talking with me. Several women commiserated with me on how much our feet hurt. They also were oddly interested in feeling my boobs and wanted to know how I made them (pillow stuffing). Got lots of compliments for my legs. Not my best effort, but the first time in public dressed, albeit as a guy in drag not as Lynn.

Several months later, my wife told a lesbian couple friends of ours about my French Maid outfit and my going all in. We saw the several months later, and the told Deb “We have something for Lindsey. I hope he likes it.” It was a 3X latex fetish mother superior outfit. Frederick’s of Hollywood had donated it to a local women’s shelter, and they had decided it might be inappropriate. Had been hanging in their closet for several years. Wore it to a Halloween party that year.

But we went to a big singles Halloween party in Boston and there were so many guys in French Maid costumes the MC joked they should have their own costume category. BTW the top prize winner came as a giant roll of Charmin. There were also categories for pairs and groups.

Went to a drag queen pub crawl in Austin. I decided to wear French maid outfit and went to MAC to get makeup applied.
