Square Dance and Crynolin Slip

I found out one thing last night when got ready to go to square dancing that the square dance dress and crynolin slips do not quite fit in the newer cars with wide center console couldn't see the shifter or center console. But made do as well as I could

Well you could always just wait until you arrive at the dance to put on the crinoline.

That's what my mom always did so it would not be flattened by sitting on it.

I used to love helping her puff out her square dancing dress, I can still spot a "water fall" from 10 feet away.

I have a crinoline petticoat, and yes it does make your skirt stick way out.
I have trouble when walking around the house; I have an antecedence to knock
things off shelves. But still fun to wear.

That might be an issue in the h uk, with our love of the stick shift. :heehee:

How long have you taken to work that one out.

I find I can't go down any normal aisle in a slip, I have to gather and bunch it up, otherwise I am like a bull in a china shop. :-)
