I love them on anything. They are a sure mark of femininity. What are you favorite places to leave prints? Where have you left them in the past?

I had to wipe one off my cheek at Mary's a week+ ago. Because everyone kept mentioning it!:battingeyelashes:

Be careful out there smooching your trans friends!:heehee:

Jenny,

It's when having applied lippy, you press your lips together and leave that imprint on tissue paper. To see the outline of your lips, wonderful!

After all these years I still love seeing them on a wine glass or champagne flute. Recently, I like seeing it on my coffee cup at Starbucks. And finally, I am with Helen, the perfect lip print on a single sheet of toilet paper. That really starts me day off on a good foot!

PS: Just thinking about the one lipstick mark that meant and means so much to me, one on the tombstone of a very close ex-Air Force trans friend in a very moving and peaceful US Military cemetery. My good bye kiss to her, knowing that she was in a much more accepting and loving place.

The mirror. Definitely the mirror. So fun!!

Or kissing a napkin and writing something cute on it.

It may be a sign of femininity for some; to me it's a sign I need to apply some more!

Jenny,
A couple of days ago my sister in law called me to see if she could drop in for coffee . We chatted for a while and after she'd left I tidied up the cups and had to smile both had lipstick marks on them and almost the same colour .

I only time I see lip color on anything other than my lips is after blotting the excess on tissue paper or the rim of my coffee mug. Any of you can attest to the long lasting lip glosses which are suppose to last all day. Do they shed their color after awhile and leave no marks? Curious as to the effort to remove the lip color at the end of the day.

I’m a tissue, coffee cup lipstick print, too. Stephanie, my wife gave me a tube of all day, long lasting lipstick. I loved its application, color, look. However, my sister-in-law called to tell us she was dropping by. I was able to change, but while my makeup came off easily, the makeup remover sheets did not remove the lipstick....neither did soap and water. I kinda panicked, but with more scrubbing, it finally came off...well, enough to look OK. My lips were chapped and tender. I still use it, hoping no more drop bys.

The lip stain can be difficult to get off for sure. My sure fire was use my toothbrush and toothpaste and brush my lip gently. My wife found a new thing. Lipstick eraser by cover girl. Works wonderful. You need to apply a few times but takes it all off. No chapped lips no tender lips.

Yep! Laura is spot on with a tooth brush and tooth paste. Get a little travel package that has both for those emergency times.

There's lipstick on my mirror and coffee cup, but the mirror is my favorite place, lipstick on my mirror that sounds like a song "Lipstick on my mirror" shadows on the floor ......

Well....LOL the first place I like to see lipstick prints is X-rated. But, secondly, I love to see my lipstick prints on the rim of a cocktail glass. Looks very sexy and Fem.

Jenny, I'm normally a beer drinker. When dressed though, it's pinot grigio. I love the look of the lipstick on my wine glass.

I "LOVE" the look of a lipstick print on the glass of whatever I'm having at the moment.

My wife on the other hand CAN'T STAND them and thinks they look disgusting. This is an area we agree to disagree and I try to clean off all the lipstick stains from the cups and glasses before she has to.

Lipstick isn't cleaned well cleaned off by the dishwasher, so remember to carefully wipe off the evidence before installing.

Might be because you are wearing too much lipstick maybe?

Made me think Why not Jenny?

I don't leave much of a mark on a glass these days, bold lipliner is my main colouring then a mild lip colouring.

Too many stains in the past has led me to go, well, this aint cool?

Don't get me wrong, I do my lips straight out of the shower!:rose2:

I have one where it doesn’t show.

I where lip stain, it lasts.
I find it comes off with regular make-up remover towelettes.

I may be in the minority here, but I like my lipstick to stay on my lips! Probably why I use long-lasting matte liquid lipsticks that never transfer.

Recently, I like seeing it on my coffee cup at Starbucks.

There’s something about seeing lipstick on a Starbucks cup. I think it’s the subtle shift related to such a familiar thing which becomes a metaphor for the shift in dress and emotion which accompanies it.

Katrina, I totally get your side of all this. However, for me, re-doing my lipstick after eating or drinking something is part of the enjoyment of just being out there as my real self. Now, I do not spend more than a minute putting it on. I quickly put it on, check in the mirror one more time, then blot it once and out the door. I do try to leave a single tissue with my lipstick blot laying face up in the trash can thinking hopefully that someone else may see it and smile!

I love to see my lipstick prints on my morning coffee cup, afternoon water glass or evening wine glass. In the long run lipstick is cheap, time spent reapplying it is an investment and it's the memories and validation those prints provide that has value for me.

Ilike to leave a little lipstick on my drinking glass, which irritates my wife.

Since I no longer drink alcohol, my favorite places are my milk glass or my coffee cup. I also try to sneak in one on whatever glass/cup my wife is drinking from :D

First I'd like to say how admirable this entire thread has been in it's family friendly answers because my first thought was apparently waaaaaayyyy out of line.

My second thought was ... The napkin I blot with after I put my lip gloss on. Since it's the very last thing I put on it's like an exclamation point that I am ready.
