I want to change my avatar. The old was taken in 2007 I have 2 that I like. These were taken this week in a photo shot. Maybe the third one is better.

While both look great, I like the blue dress better.

I like the outfit and the color composition of the first shot, AND your smile, but the lighting is bad, and the shot is not all that clear. For an avatar, a very small thumbnail, I'd have to say go for the second shot.

While both are quite nice, being a skirt and top person, I have to say #2! Hugs Lana Mae

Both outfits are nice, but the backgrounds are cluttered. The picture frame is too much.

The square frame behind you in that one pic is very distracting and your face is hard looking.(contrast wise).
I vote for blue dress

My vote is for the blue dress, and crop it up to more of a portrait for an avatar. IMO

From the small sample it looks like the blue dress. Now see if I can replace the old one.

I think you should use both and alternate when you feel like a change.

I like the outfit with the white skirt, but one can’t argue with a smile, so...

I guess I’m late to this thread but I also like the blue dress.

Hell-o Glenda,
Definitly the blue one! Showing some teeth with your smile will always win, adding a bright colored dress just seals the deal!
Much Love,
Kristyn

Hi Glenda, nice pics! I like both outfits, well done. It's interesting that you mentioned that your previous avatar dated back to 2007. I think it's great that we have so many members that have been around for a while. I think it bodes well for the future of CD.com.

Glenda, the blue one is very nice but l love the last pic best.
The color combo of the top, skirt and heels looks really nice.
You have a great smile and fabulous legs. :)

You're definitely not too old for that dress. It fits you perfectly and you have the legs for it! Thanks for sharing.

You definitely don't look too old for either. I like the gold/white combination. PLus I like the sleeve length better in those pics.

Age is a number bestowed by your years. It is not your heart and mind, just a number. If you have it flaunt it. If you don't, flaunt it. Enjoy and be happy with yourself.

I like your original, it is more colourful.

Three would be your best option.

It appears that you've already chosen but I'll still chime in anyway. Another vote for the blue dress.

I'm going to be one of the outliers here with my opinion...Definitely #3, Glenda

It has everything going for it...good lighting, an "owning it" pose, a lovely smile, as well as an age-appropriate outfit, and your happiness at being in touch with your "true self" here - even if only fleetingly - shines through loud and clear. What's not to love about this pic?

Glenda, smiles are always a great photo accessory. I love the white skirt and gold top. There is another thread on age appropriate dress...so my thoughts on that is to dress to flatter your shape in a style you like that is appropriate for the occasion. My clothing options are up to me and my wife...not public opinion. Cheers.

Door number 3! The first pic would be great except it's a bit blurry and lacks contrast. A little photo editing would most likely improve those aspects. You have the same nice smile in #3. In the meantime, keep taking more photos. Try different backgrounds, poses, and outfits. ;)

Hi Glenda,
I like picture 1 in the blue dress or picture 3, the smile makes the picture.

I changed mine on the 7th of this month.
