View Full Version : She 's had enough and just went CRAZY !

I came home and just knew something was wrong.
It was all in her posture, the silence , the way she avoided our usual greeting.
After an awkward attempt at finding out what was wrong and still being greeted with silence I went upstairs to the bedroom.
Sometimes I'll leave an outfit out for later in the day. There has never been a problem or an issue.
I'd place a dress/skirt/blouse on the bed and a pair of
shoes usually heels at the foot of the bed. Then change when I got home. Make up the whole nine yards.
What was different I wonder what had changed ?
Had I not paid enough attention to her ?
Did I spend more time getting dressed then on our relationship ?
I was shocked by what I saw when I entered the bedroom.
It looked like someone had taken an ice pick to my heels all of the holes !
The straps and bows all over the floor.
An lump in my stomach as contemplated the loss of a favorite pair of heels.
I know I should have reacted differently but this was personal.
I grabbed a heel and strode down stairs.
I found her in the living room, Looking her in the eye I took a deep breath and said:
"Lola , bad dog !, Never chew my heels again !"
Later in the evening we made up and I promised to play with her more when I get home.

Almost. Almost had me but finding it hard to believe that what was being implied really happened given your relationship with your wife. Bad girl, Kelly. Bad girl.

I learned a long time ago to read everything backwards. Residual trauma from trying to decipher the truth out of newspaper articles.
The technique has served me well, case in point. Great story.

I saw only trouble on the horizon as I began reading that story. Having suffered through the silence, the posture, the non-greeting upon arriving home, my heart went out to you as I read on about your heels being destroyed.
Then I got to the ending. I immediately took back all the sympathy I was feeling.
Shame on you, Kelly. LOL.

The exact same thing happened to my all time favorite pair of low wedge heels last fall. Out of the 50 some odd pairs on the closet floor between my wife and mine, our pup made a chew toy out of my go to shoes. Lesson learned, and they are all now safely stored in Rubbermaid tubs. Right before that, he had got a hold of my wallet from the counter, which contained five singles and a hundred dollar bill. He only ate one of the bills.....sigh.

I had that sinking feeling in my stomach. Reliving horrors of a previous life. Stephen King has only come that close to making me hyperventilate and puke.

Well played! You had me going too. Hopefully they weren't expensive or difficult to replace. It sounds like Lola had a grand time!

Until you got to the punch line I thought your "s--t was in the wind!" I wonder how many on this site have had their wardrobe destroyed by their wives. Anybody care to offer a case of overt hostility?
PS: One of my son's dogs has a tendency to actually eat panties left on the floor. Last year he had a vet bill of $6,000 for surgery and recovery to remove one of those panties. She also likes to eat socks.

Kelly,
I'm sorry if I don't see the full humour in this possibly because of my own situation and my wife's attitude . She never resorted to this behaviour but even after separation she has sent some dreadful messages .
My thoughts on this are how much further will she go next time , I'm sure there will be a next time . Stacy showed the scars of her wife's actions , did she expect it, did she deserve it ?
I know if I made the , " Bad dog !" comment to my wife she would have gone ballistic .
It's good it's smoothed over for now but has the trust gone out of the relationship ?
Sorry I've read it again was it the dog or your wife ?
Sherry,
I'm nodding in agreement even though I'm only separated .

My appologies Teresa, yes it was our dog. I really was NOT poking fun of anyone's situation. Pets are kind of funny at times.
I had to find humor or I would have cried. Again , no disrespect meant.
Lola and I have made up and I keep the bedroom door shut.

Very nice story. One time my wife threw out one of my pr of heals. She thought that they belong to some one else.
She would let me dress, but no heals. That's OK, because I had problems walking in them anyway.

Whew thank god you are OK. You certainly had me going there. I read your story to my wife and I waited to deliever the punch line. She told me it had her heart pounding for a bit. As for the real ending sadly I have been there before with a dog who knew they had gone rouge.
Love your story

ROFL!
We have to be careful what we leave around the house, especially shoes! Back when our dogs were pups they would chew everything. These days, our Border Collie takes items as trophies to "his" part of our back yard. Luckily doesn't chew them anymore.

Kelly:
We've got a bone to pick with you over that one. Don't run away. SIT! We're not down with that type of behavior. And we won't roll over and forget it. And if you think we're going to stay, you're barking up the wrong tree. That brings us back to your heels -- we won't remain by your side going forward, even if you beg.
