Good day to all,, It's been a while since my last post,, things have been a little hectic the last couple of years,, but I am back and hopefully I can be a better member and give insight to everyone.
I posted before that the wife and I are renewing our vows and we wanted to do it as two women,,, with that said,,, we have booked our flight and hotel in Vegas for Sept to renew our vows for our 30th anniversary. What I am looking for,, are recommendations for a transformation service, not only for me,, but so the wife can get her make up and nails done at the same time and place. Also if any of you have used a chapel in vegas,, which one did you use,, or can anyone tell us good ones to consider. We have been looking at attractions to do while we are here,, have found a few things to do,, but time is short for us,, we will be there from Sept 14th to the 18th. thank you all in advance for your replies. Have a great week end. Michelle

All I can add is you will have a good time in Vegas, weddings like you describe are a normal thing there, makeover services are varied and there are a couple of popular ones that those on this site use regularly. Attractions, go to Boulder Dam during the day, troll all the casinos and don't be tempted to thinking your luck is in or any get rich quick ideas.

Stroll along the strip during the evening and about three o'clock in the morning drop in and have a hearty breakfast at any one of the eateries and then go to bed for a couple of hours. Trouble is sleeping is a waste of time as you can then go and swim, ride the various suicide rides that are on offer and then play the pokies, as I said don't spend too much and just watch other peoples money go down the casino's chute.

I talked to a couple of girls working the street and helped them hand out cards.... Phone XXX and have a woman in your room in 20 minutes.

What an invigorating conversation that was.. I had my wife with me.

Just have a ball and others will advise you of attractions on and around the strip.

When opened, go to the Makeovers category.

Can offer useful guidance, but I do want to wish you both continued love and happiness as you renew your vows. What a wonderful expression of mutual support and commitment.

Look up Amy as "Just you". I have personal experience with her. I heard about her from a friend who was like a premier customer.

I just looked at their web site, and they offer a "Bridal Fantasy" and an optional "Wedding Ceremony" How could go wrong with that!

I would recommend Stephanie at N2 the Looking glass. Every bit as good as Amy a little cheaper and honestly easier to get in. Plus she has great prices on almost anything you might need.

What Steffi said. Amy and her, "Just you", makeover studio r primarily there for trans. If they know when u r coming they will not only do a bang up make up job but they sell wigs, outfits, shoe/boots and tons of other items which u can view in private at your leisure.:daydreaming:

Amy can also point u in the direction of trans friendly venues and possible events while u r there!

Amy does not keep an inventory of items seen in her showroom, and they are all she has to sell on a day's visit. She will order what you want.

Thank you all for the suggestions,,, I have e-mailed Amy at just you, (waiting for reply) asking her about setting up the time, so we know what time to book the chapel . As far as things to do while we are there,, my wife loves the idea of what's called pawn stars strip trike tour,, where you rent a three wheeled motorcycle and tour the strip, get to see the pawn stars shop, and also get to see Count's Kustoms car shop,, that should be awesome. And it's only $62.50 per person for 4 hours. I will have to keep everyone updated as time gets closer. Michelle

Michelle...I just wanted to say that its wonderful how you and your wife are going to be celebrating your 30th anniversary! While I can't recommend any places in Vegas, I can tell you that you are going to have a fabulous time, and more importantly, spending the time remembering all those years ago with your wife. Nothing is better than that!

p.s. Mine is actually in October, so kudos to us both for making it this far

Hi Michelle!

Congratulations!!! Sam and I went to vegas in February last year and we didnt do the guided tour but we did do go to the pawn stars pawn shop.... we liked that we could walk around ourselves without a time limit and the bus and walk from the strip to get there was pretty easy. The pawn shop itswlf is not that impressive and u can tell after going the show is incredibly staged.... but to see some picassos and old coins.. still pretty cool..... Just to let you know Chumlee has a candy store close to the pawn shop and i dont remember which day he is there on but every week he is there at a specifix time and he takes a photo with u if u buy candy... very touristy and gimmicky but... i cant say no to candy anyway.... Also... theres a bbq shop that rick opened also in the little mall there and the bodyguard.... ummm dont remember his name... he works there and is a huge sweetheart... Hope you have an amazing time!!!

I envy the motorcycle tour! Every time I've been there it's been for a national job related reason and didn't get a lot of time to do all of what we would have liked.

But we did get to go to the Pinball Museum. That was pretty awesome! And it cost more to Uber there than what it costs to play for hours!

So much to do and so little time
