Yesterday I recieved another skirt from eBay (pleated pink mini) and immediately put it on. It was a hot, humid day and before putting on the skirt had on just a pair of shorts. Off came the shorts and on went on the skirt. AAaaahhhh, nice.

And as usual, I came up w/a reason why I HAD to go outside, down the stairs and into the garage. And never fail, I found a reason and justified it. Outside I went.

Halfway down the stairs I felt sooo naked. I'm all like, 'wow, this is weird. I'm outside in nothing but shorts all the time.' I felt very awkward, in a weird kinda way. something wasn't right.

What was the deal?

Probably the knowledge that if anyone was looking up the stairs they'd see your panties. With shorts, you're covered, with a skirt, you barely are. Plus with shorts you feel them surrounding your legs, not so with a skirt.

I could also be that your body is not used to the feeling of your skin rubbing in places as you move while you are dress the feeles are their but only when your in the nude. I know the first time i wore a dress in my own home i felt like that because i was used to me body have pants on all the time.

I'm guessing it was a psychological confusion.

In guy mode, shorts only is perfectly fine. In girl mode, 'topless' is not OK.

I was far from en femme, I had on only the skirt (no wig, shoes, anything). But mentally, subconsciously, I was in girl mode due to the skirt, and in girl mode, topless, specially outside is not OK.

I really wish us guys could wear skirts. I really like them a lot.

It has been said that women's clothing is designed to restrict a woman's movement placing her at the mercy of her environment. She has to be careful how much she is showing and if wearing heels, has to be careful walking, etc. Maybe you felt a little of this

As Donna mentioned above, she assumed I had on my intimates when I hadn't. And I couple times I was going to address it, but I hadn't. I know, it was a critical fact in the case. Maybe I wouldn't have felt so naked w/them on??? Maybe not. In boy mode w/just shorts on, that is not the case (no naked feeling). Michelle, keen insight.

Jenny, that skirt is so very cute! Can I have it? It is my thread. Now give it up girl. Give it to Dana...
