I like Branson and I hope it isn't a short term publicity stunt, TG women need work opportunities..good ones...

Is this really what we need? A segregated flight crew? What about other underrepresented demographics? Do they get a pride flight as well?

I thought the point of a pluralistic society was that people of all sorts of backgrounds could work and live together amicably despite their differences. How does this advance that particular cause?

How does this advance our cause!? By the very existence of this "stunt". It's called "raising consciousness". All the people who never thought about the issue now will. And to call this "segregation" is to badly misapply the term. Those pilots and crew work every day in the same environment as their straight coworkers. That their employer has chosen to highlight the diversity in their workforce in this high profile symbolic flight is exactly the kind of thing that advances our cause.

Thanks, Aunt Kelly.

What about the bit about other underrepresented demographics?

Thanks, Aunt Kelly.

What about the bit about other underrepresented demographics?

Arguably, if they have a date on which they celebrate something of historical significance approaching that of the Stonewall riots, they, and those supporting their. cause should do something similar. The Pride Flight is a celebration of that historical turning point.

!00% on Aunt Kelly, these crew members are trained and experienced. That they were chosen AND chose to do this flight tells me that Branson is a man of his word. Fly high and proud, Virgin Air.
