I am 11 weeks post op and want to share a wonderful experience I had to day. My SO and I were invited to join another couple at a local hot spring pool. We had never been there, I did not know what the changing room situation was. While the women's changing area had private shower stalls, the place to change clothes was open. I was naked along with other woman while changing and showering after our pool time. No one looked at me twice, and more important, I felt so empowered as a woman! Obviously I could not have done this pre-surgery. I am very grateful and amazed at my transition. I attach a photo, in my swimsuit of course! :heehee:

Wow Dorit! You are really going deep into womanhood experiences, somewhat like the deep end of the pool behind you in the picture. I congratulate you for this and what it does for those that follow you. Oh. you look wonderfully and wonderfully as a woman in a bathing suit. I like the suit's style too. Keep up the good work.
That's really great Dorit. It's been a long road but I think days like this must make it feel worthwhile.
You look very happy and I can see why no one gave you a second glance. I suppose you did your happy dance?

Hi Dorit,
It must be an awesome experience! Being post op obviously pays good dividend in our binary world besides feeling great yourself. I think I will be stuck in my non-binary binary world for the forceable future as this is who I am and will be seeking those single stall showers and changing rooms as I currently do.
Please keep sharing your experiences!

Hi Dorit,
You are doing really well considering the relative short time since your surgery. Looking good and I am sure you are very pleased? Our previous conversations have come to fruition.
Stay happy;

Dorit, I completely understand you because I stopped going to the gum because they have men and women locker room with open shower stalls...
That's one of the thing that makes me think on surgery...
Thanks for.your posts.

That is a wonderful story, Dorit! I understand precisely what was going through your mind whilst in the changing room. I have used the hydrotherapy pool at the Good Shepherd hospital in Allentown with my partner, who is recovering from Guillainé-Barré Syndrome and I wore either of two tank top swimsuits. Here, however, there are curtained areas for changing. My surgery is scheduled for the end of June. Afterwards, I would not be concerned if another woman were to accidentally open the curtain before I had pulled up the swimsuit. For me, as you have already found, the surgery will be liberating.
