What do you carry in your purse/handbag?
Besides your license/ID, money and maybe a few makeup touch up items?

I look at my wife’s bag and just don’t understand why it weighs a ton. 🤷🏾*♂️

Items I carry as a matter of routine

Keys (and they're big & bulky, think "turnkey from a dungeon")
Wallet (girl style only and a fraction of the size my wife uses)
makeup items for touchups on the road
hair brush
Kleenex
camera (maybe)
Cell Phone (flip type burn phone)
personal protection items (and I don't mean condoms)

It stile bulks things up but the weight isn't bad

While I don't carry much boy stuff, I do carry sunglasses reading glasses, contact case and back up. It all depends on where I am going and how I am dressed.

Either a messenger bag or depending on the occasion, the pockets of my trousers and jackets are enough.

Yeah, I have never been out in femme, as some would say here.

Well since I don't carry a purse daily I don't get the build up of crap like my wife's purse does.

Really all I carry is my keys, phone, wallet, hair brush, lipstick, maybe some touch up makeup if I am going to be out all day, and a collapsible fan.

On a daily basis I try to carry only the essentials :- purse , phone , hairbrush , lipstick, powder, glasses , pen, paper , tissues , keys , sunglasses , small plastic bags to put small items of shopping in , spare batteries for hearing aids . So why does it weigh so much ? I keep forgetting to empty it when I've been to a special event and carried extra bit's and pieces . Changing handbags is a major event but also necessary as it thins out the rubbish that accumulates at the bottom of the bag .

I still remember the thought of carrying a handbag for the first time , now I just love them and would be lost without one .

Well I don't go out (yet) but I do have a bag. It has (will have) phone, lippy mascara, quick concealer stick, fold out brush with built in compact mirror (_SO _ good!!), tissues, keys, purse, possibly my Nintendo 3DS (go ahead and judge me. Lol). Regular glasses if it's sunny so I can change out of my prescription shades when I need to or it clouds over. Or conversely sunglasses if the sun's in and out.

It's a medium size leather handbag. I could get plenty of crap in it but I think the above is enough.

I haven't advanced to a bag yet but would carry the essentials, unlike my wife who carries the contents of our house and the kitchen sink, just to go grab a bottle of milk!!

I keep a little cash, a few make up items for touch ups, some tissues, and I'll dump in my phone, I.D., credit cards, keys, glasses, etc. My purse is small, so I keep it minimal for now!

All the normal stuff you girls have mentioned and because I take my dog out a lot I have the little poop bags so I can be a responsible dog walker.

I recently added safety pins for quick repairs for clothing, etc. The same as others plus my inhaler(COPD)and a snack-crackers or candy(diabetic)! Hugs Lana Mae

It depends....If I am going out to a club or just out shopping. When to a club a carry a very chic "clutch". Can't fit much so here is what I carry.....

1. Cash, Credit card, ID
2. Lip liner and lipstick
3. A couple of extra Nails and nail glue
4. Blush
5. Condoms

That is about all I can fit into my clutch.

We are all exposed to possible injury or illness when out, no matter how we are dressed, and may need ER care. So, please remember to carry your health insurance cards (they may not be needed in the UK .. i don't know).
