Nice request from my wife

I have an apartment in a city an hour or so from our home that I stay in for work sometimes. My wife knows I crossdress but I don’t dress around her, so the apartment works well for my job and as a respite for CDing. She had appointments in the city this week and stayed with me in the apartment. My dresses and such are fully on display in the closet but she never mentions them. I was called in early to work and she texted me several hours later asking if she could borrow my lavender blouse because it was a bit chill outside for her clothes. I responded enthusiastically and immediately that I love sharing with her. It feels like a kind of acceptance.

That is great; My wife always would ask me if I had some spare Pantyhose.
I always made sure I had a few extra in her color in the drawer. It made life
much nicer.

It does feel a bit like affirmation, doesn't it? And we need it sometimes. A few years ago, my wife needed to borrow a dress from me to wear to a wedding. She told me she had tried on several before deciding on one, and that she had difficulty voicing her request to me. I told her I would be honored if she would wesr my dress to the wedding and that she was welcome to do it any time in the future. She has only taken me up on that offer once, but we're not that close in size and she doesn't wear dresses much at all. Still, it does indicate she's softening.

That's great Mermaiden. I too take little things like that as a bit of acceptance. I try not to push it too far after those rare moments though.

My question is, do you not dress around her because she's requested that, or because you don't feel comfortable.
Either way, it could open the door to bringing some clothes home instead of all at the apartment.
