OK! So, I asked Grace, what the owner would do if she found out I was Transgender! She said she did not know! I showed her my patch and she asked what it was! I said an Estrogen patch! She said, I won't tell anyone else! It is none of their business! I did this as changing my name will have to include tax info! I wanted to be able to tell the owner before I made the changes! So,...I will discuss it with my counselor! This is starting to get interesting! LOL Hugs Lana Mae

Stephanie: Actually, I am now out to the boss/owner and she is fine with it! She wants me to wait to dress at work until I change my name on my nurse's licence, which I had intended to do!
I am now out to another CNA which I did at a restaurant where we both go at times!
I am out to, a housekeeper, another CNA, two kitchen staff members, and the med tech on 3-11 as of today at work!
All were accepting! One even said she was proud of me for coming out!
Slowly one day at a time!

OK! Again today! I came out to the other Med Tech on 3-11 and a CNA who was covering from our sister facility!( I have known her a long time!) The CNA did not recognize me in my Transformation photos! She said that I was beautiful in my photo in my Lilac dress! We talked about the local climate for Gays and Trangender folks! She stated not to be flambuoyant in your dressing as this gets people upset! No chance of that here! Both were very accepting! LM

I don't want to sound like general after the battle but I would say that employers get I trou le for discrimination if after you come out they fire you, more on the health enviroment.
Anyway, things are going great and I'm happy for you..

Devi: It is a small company, privately owned, and they can always find some reason to get rid of someone if they want type situation! Besides I figured she would be OK in the long run! LOL
Laura: All have actually said it is my life and do whatever is necessary to be me! It is a private matter and no one else's business was also often said! But you are probably right it will be all over the state before long! LOL
