buying a new handbag...need some advice

I just picked up a really cute small black leather and grey cloth combination Aigner handbag at TJ Maxx for $7.99 but want to go back and get a black leather bag as well before my next salon appt. on Wednesday. Do you girls prefer shoulder bads or the roll type held by the handle? Thanks for your help!!!

for general 'out-n-about' I prefer my black leather purse with shoulder strap, and have my stuff carried in it.

(not that I get out much though. I have a hand bag, but always feared I may set it down, and leave it somewhere, but makes a good photo prop.)

I too like the shoulder kind, and make sure that it's big enough to hold a brick in it. You never know if you're gonna need it to whack some idiot with it.0.02
