Ok, yesterday I tried to post some pics for Wendy & everybody else but things didn't go well so I've been resizing some of them & here's 1 in reply to Wendy's "gun" thread. As I said before its a 10-guage auto. Shells are so big it only holds 2 with 1 in the pipe. I reload my own using stainless ball bearings & metal shavings from my machine shop. I haven't gone shooting yet in a dress but who knows :eek:

If that's how people go around armed in Southern California, I think I'll stay away. And it just doesn't seem very feminine somehow.

well out here in the desert there's we-little & some not so little critters that somehow seem to think I taste good. 2 months ago I walked out front to find a 4' rattle snake sunning himself 5' from my front door. I had him for dinner. He ad 13 rattles which means he was about 7 years old. Things like scorpians & believe it or not on a rare ocasion you might even see a transula. Sorry for the spelling

Ack! I really, really, really don't like bugs and scorpions and spiders are right up there. I was always curious, what does snake taste like?

I have had crocodile and I can highly recommend anyone to stay away :p

not to be a wise ass but snake taste like chicken. The bones are soft & ya skin em like a catfish. This sucker was about 2-1/2" in dia. & a head to match---ugh!!! I hate snakes but out here its a part of life. I dont hunt anything but this guy got a little to close

I get so burned out on chicken I dont even want to see it again. Just about everything here has to do with chicken. Chicken tacos, chicken burrietos, chicken fried steak, deep fried chicken beeks, ugh.
On another note seems to me you girls over there have alot of fun & are close to each other. Me on the other hand, I'm way over here & things are a tad different. Sometimes I think I'm all alone out here & I think there must be somebody close to me to party with but not so far so 1 day I'm coming over there. Close I can get now is listining to Enya on the cd player (ok its Irish but close) So if anyone from So. Cal. is on this great site besides lil-ol-me let me know. Anyway I'm going to have some chicken soup & crackers

Snake, alligator, crocodile and most reptiles taste like chicken.

There's a reason for that, which is because they're all in a similiar taxonomy with common ancestry.

It's also why many rodents taste a little like pork, why buffalo tastes like beef and tuna is similiar to swordfish.

Similiar ecological niches also produce similiar tastes even in divergent specie, as does a similiar diet.

Which is why say, corn-fed beef tastes a little different than other beef.

Can't say I've had snake recently tho, it's not common here on the east coast suburbia.
