Hippo out and about part 2

Well, i have experienced something new in my 76 years. I broke a bone. I actually fractured 3 or 4 of them in my right wrist.
I fell in the woods while I was hiking by myself. I had to walk out the mile and then drive myself the 7 miles through rush hour traffic to the ER. Then had to wait 3 hours to be seen.

I find I can't use my camera with out a tripod and a remote shutter.
Also buttons and zippers, and cooking are hard too (I live alone).

Oh I'm so sorry about your injury, Leslie Mary. Your hiking ordeal sounds awful. Glad you finally made it out of the woods ok. Were you hiking in female mode at the time?

Sorry to hear about your bad fortune, but I'm glad that your fall wasn't more severe, being that far away from help.
I assume that you are right handed like 90% of the population. That just makes it that much more frustrating.

I am lucky in one respect, I am a lefty. I use my left hand to do most of my make-up. And now that I have the Air Brush Kit, I can do my make-up better.

Interesting side note; When I removed the air-brushed make-up I noticed that I had a much thinner coat of make-up on my face, this was shown by less make-up on my wipes.

Being left handed for you was a good thing. Using the bathroom is difficult if ones working arm is in a sling, I know this.

I have two ways to go. Get better or fall and brake something else, like the heel of my favorite 4" Black heels.
