Omg, I forgot the sunday dinner report!
Short one, we were subdued from attending a funeral the day before.
Himself came over as usual, sans girlfriend who had to work.
In spite of a 'down' weekend we shared laughs as usual and when two menfolk bond over one thing or another, one might exclaim "my brother from another mother!"
Over our mutual distaste for peas, our son, in bonding with me, heartily exclaimed "My mother WITH my other mother!"
He followed that up quickly with a look of "you see what I did there?"
I love that kid.
