Update: work

I am out to every one at work except one person in the kitchen! I have one resident that calls me Lana Mae! I also have one staff member who calls me Lana Mae! Surprise, surprise! Today, the boss was in and asked, "How is it going, Lana Mae?" Now THAT is acceptance! No I do not even have my name change yet! Just was a little taken aback by that! I think it is wonderful and so does my daughter! Just wanted to share a good experience! Hugs Lana Mae

That's great Lana Mae :) I think that good people will want to call you by the name you want to be known as, regardless of whether you have the piece of paper yet or not. It's much better that they're doing it because they want to, not because some piece of paper says they have to :)
