If you want to give your own general info (like NE Indiana), that's ok. However, some people don't want to be put on the spot about where live. Hence, they say "midwest, west coast, etc". A PM is best for situations like that.

Have you Googled crossdressers or LGBT or transgender support group for your area? It might be the way to meet others. Okay, not necessarily from this forum but it might give you what you seek.

Having met other CD'ers over the years I can say it's a wonderful thing. Being able to chat about our shared interests, the paths we've traveled, trials and tribulations etc is a huge help in knowing you're not alone.
