For our last painting class this month we have an informal get together with the afternoon group and after the class have snacks and drinks , I usually make some mince pies which usually go down well . So last week I asked if anyone would be wearing something with a Xmas theme , I have a jumper and a dress so I was debating which one , they all agreed not the dress . I then added that I would be wearing something a bit more special for my social group Xmas party on the 7th Dec , the I realsed I still had a picture in my bag from when the 35 year member old asked to see it . I showed it to a new lady member and she then passed it onto a new male member . He said , " Oh my gosh that's the Swallow Hotel !" I told it was but had changed names twice since but then asked how he knew . He told us when he was an architect he'd designed the hotel and the screen I'm standing in front of was his favourite piece , in fact the design came from a screen he had built in his new home and reused it for the hotel . He just shook his head saying , " What a small World it is , by the way I think the dress is great as well .
