My wife does not like for me to be dressed en-femme in public for fear that someone that knows us will recognize me.
So when I go out dressed, I go to the other side of town where I am less likely to run into someone that we know.
Our daughter is home from college for the holidays, which puts a big damper on my dressing.
The other day, my wife realized that she needed something from a store across town where I often shop when I am over there. She asked if I could get it, then commented that our daughter was out with a friend for lunch and wouldn't be back for a couple of hours. She would be back home then and leaving later to go out for dinner with another friend. My angel of a wife (sorry Kandi, but your wife is not the only angel) asked if I would like to get dressed to shop and return after our daughter had left for the evening. She reminded me that she does not like me dressed out in public, but realizes how much I enjoy it. I didn't wait for her to change her mind, gave her a big hug and got my makeup out to start the transition while she put her grocery list together.
I had a lovely time shopping for groceries, and had enough time to go to the mall. I found a cute pair of boot cut jeans at the Dress Barn going out of business sale as a bonus.
She sent me a text when our daughter had gone back out, and I returned when 'the coast was clear'.
What a great day!!!
