Hi girls.

I was wondering how you all wash your smalls. You know your tights, stockings panties etc. I suppose we would fall into two categories. Those who live with someone and those of us who live alone. For those who live with someone it will depend upon if their partners know about your dressing.

As you can see there are many different ways, which we can or are able to wash our smalls. So I thought it would be interesting to learn how others get around the problem.

I now live alone and so I wash them and place them on the bedroom radiator . This way when anyone calls they cannot see my tights etc drying. But when I go to bed they are the last things I see when I go to sleep and the first when I awake.

But I was very lucky in so much that my wife knew and approved of my dressing, she helped me with dressing and buying cloths etc. So even when she was alive I could still wash them and dry them as and when I needed to. I wash them in Stergene, which is a mild liquid detergent.

i wash them in the bathroom sink with Woolite. Then I hang them all over the bathroom, like a GG would do.

Since my wife knows I wash them with everyone elses. If the kids ask they are hers. They don't go in my drawers. I make sure that I put them away. Good thing we are about the same size.

I was so tempted when I saw this earlier to jump in and say I wash my smalls in a small sink, but I won't. :)

Quite simply all my fem stuff goes in the wash with the rest of the stuff.

Julie, Is it OK to put your tights in the wash, I always thought they might tear or something. This doesn't happen to you? I would throw mine in the wash in the future.

I put them into a small net type bag thing that I come across, it seems to do the job OK and I haven't had any problems. Just don't put the machine on too an intense wash programme.

Mine and my wifes "GG" stuff goes in the washer. But she doesn't want the bras and nylons being washed together, those darn bra hooks. And as (Searching) wrote there my wifes. The only problem that I see are my pantys and thongs are a few sizes smaller, oops. :p

Ooops is right!! If your wife reads this, someone is sleeping on the couch.

Rule One-
Never tell your wife she might be bigger than you,,,You should know this, it is in the manual. Lol

Intresting!
If I only have a few- I use those little net baggies & just toss in with like colors-- Most of the time I use the delicate cycle, warm/cool/ low with woolite- on the final rinse add scented fabric softener. Always bag up the bras & stocking separate-- Never ever put them in the dryer!!
In years past when the wife was still here- Had to pick a time and be sneakey-- Now I lay them out in my bedroom to dry overnite, It is nice to wake up in a room full of (smalls) and choose the days undies.
If I was out to the world- The bathroom for drying. but with grand kids and other company at times-- Still got be sneaky --
Thanks for letting me rattle on--------------- Janice Ann

I have several lingerie bags of different sizes and types (e.g., one is just for padded bras or bras with foam lined cups). I wash them in the washer and depending, I either dry them in the bags in the dryer or pluck their contents out and hang them in the bathroom. Depends on me mood and how much time I have. :p

I tend to wash my things by hand :). But there is a very good reason for that ... I don't want anyone else in the household to touch my stuff :D

Everything in the washing machine for me, thrown in with all my drab things. I also use a mesh bag for the more fragile items.

then hang up in the bathroom like any good GG. Easy. Cool.
