Ok most every one has a fem first name, now do'es any one have a last name for your fem side or do you use the one you have? I have not figured out what to do here or even bother with it.

I go by my assumed first and middle here, but if I got to the point of needing to use a last name in fem mode I'd hope to use the real one. But where would you need a last name, Tina? When we get to That point we'd be about as Out as could be.

Bernice

Bernice Noreen Lindell, for anyone who cares. However, all parts are fabricated, so no need to start searching places like ZabaSearch. I'm not listed.

I never use my full femme name, and only use the last part when purchasing on e-bay.

Selecting a complete name was mostly an intellectual and emotional exercise to give me someone I could aspire to be.

Hugs,

Bernice

Christine Renee is my first and middle name. My real last name is my last name en femme as well though I rarely use it for that purpose.

I wanted something french for my last name, I am in quebec and technically a french-quebecer (although english is my preffered language) and I found it made my name sound more feminine. As for what it means, directly translated it means "the beautiful" or "the pretty".

Imagine my surprise when I realized that one of the GGs in my group of friends has the same last name ;)

Stockman is the name I've used on many internet boards. Has nothing to do with stocks and bonds as everyone thinks it does.

I just like to go by Steffie.

barbie lanai
03-28-2006, 10:23 PM
I use Lanai. Had credit card with it. Then had to practice signing in a more fem style (circles for the i's instead of harsh jots) and to look like I 'd used it more than once in my life.

Since I have only recently got back into dressing, I am still pondering about my first name, which is not the one I use on this forum. The real life first name I am using is Julie. It matches the first initial of my real first name and is an attractive but simple name that does not stand out or is hard to pronounce or sounds lofty. As for my last name I was thinking of using my last name so I could call my credit card companies and have them issue me cards for Julie as well as myself.

I have a first name, a middle name and a last name.

Kayla- My youngest daughter helped me pick this out.

Leanne- I have always liked Anne but decided to also use my mothers middle as well which was Lee, so with Lee and Anne together you get LeAnne.

Smith- This was my mothers madien last name, I thought I have my fathers last name in my guy name so why not use my mothers madien last name for my fem name, besides I am half of my father and half of my mother.

So my full fem name is ( and will always be) Kayla LeAnne Smith

I usa LaBonnie as my last name. In the Thesauraus, Bonnie means pretty. The La is just to emphisize it. Having a surname makes me feel a little more validated as a women. At the moment, my MaryKay representive uses it the most.

lynda jane hamilton
03-28-2006, 11:37 PM
All en femme I'm afraid!

Lynda is the name I would have had if I had been born a girl (Mums don't always get it right!). Jane because of a good girl friend of mine and Hamilton because it sounds "posh" and is much better than my real surname which is pretty popular!

My ambition is to have a credit and other papers with that name on so when I loose my handbag it goes back to Lynda and not me!

LOL

Karen Marie James.

Karen: It picked me when I was 14, it just sort of came to be one morning.

Marie: I always thought that was a real lovely name

James: Kinda has a "rock star" ring to it, don't ya think?

My nickname to everyone is Gypsy, of course, my Kat tagged me with it.

I only have a first and last name. I never really thought about a middle til I read this up on the forum. Jules I use because I can be Julie, Juliet, Jewel, or Jules. My last name actually comes from the extract hawthorn that in regular doses is good for the heart. ^_^ ..

Mandy Salamander

salamander 's actually been my nickname since th' age of 3,,, had really planned t' use my real last name if needed,,, but now, after receiving credit cards 'n stuff as mandy salamander, have just sorta gone with th' flow... so it goes...

I wanted something that sounded somewhat similar to my male last name and had a nice rhythm with my first name.

Helen MC
03-29-2006, 03:53 AM
An interesting pun here. Helen is quite easy. At school when I was in my teens there was a girl called Helen who I liked and I would have liked to have looked like had I been a girl so in a way she was a role model.

The MC both stand for Montfort and Cherub, the two brand names of knickers (panties) which were popular and worn by schoolgirls such as my sister Anne, and borrowed and worn by me, when I was a teenager. It is also the initials of a female friend who was in the know and very helpful to me.

As in real life, I rarely use the middle name.

Freo_kerry
03-29-2006, 05:44 AM
My family name is both French and unique, only my family in our state with it so not likely to be too safe. I chose Kerry on a whim and added my mothers maiden name. Means Dark and mysterious, sounds good to me.

However, we have strong credit control laws in Oz and it seeems to me that getting a credit card or other form of documentation using a "created name" would be seen as fraud. How do you all get over the legal questions?

BTW Love the forum

Maureen Henley
03-29-2006, 06:31 AM
Maureen - Same first initial as my given name, Celtic background, and pretty

Elizabeth - in honor of my wife

Henley - my last name before I was adopted at age 2 1/2 (discovered the name accidentally when in my twenties)

randi_789
03-29-2006, 07:53 AM
I never used one or considered one until about a year ago. I never had any name until about ten years ago when I began being Randi when I dressed. Then about a year ago I thought it didn't reflect my maturing age so I began using Miranda, for which Randi can be a nickname, and at that time decided to choose a last name too. I have no idea why I decided that, nor why I chose the name I did. But Miranda Moore was born.

alysonatl
03-29-2006, 08:14 AM
My full femme name is Alyson Jill Robbins. The middle name is one I;ve always liked and would have given to a daughter. The surname is taken from a relative who changed the true family name so it's a little more legit.

Having a first, middle and last name makes being Alyson more complete a person. Of ccourse, I could use a married name instead of my maiden name, but that's a whole diffferent session with the shrink.

Well, I guess I am lacking a proper last name...my middle is Marie after my Granny

Clare

My femme name is Clare Bethany *******. Since my real surname is unique and not well known, it would be too obvious to list here. However, it does blend in with my girly Christian names quite well, so that makes me happy!

I have not yet had reason to use my femme name in real life, but i'm sure the day will come!

My real last name is way too unique. My grandfather and his siblings changed it to be truer to the original Polish surname. So if you've got my last name it's a pretty good bet we're related.

Fortunately, Shari Ann came complete with a last name: Fisher.

KarenNY
03-29-2006, 10:00 AM
Karen Marie Collins is the name my mother bestowed on me after she had decided to allow me to dress en femme when I was in 7th grade -- after she confronted me about my "hobby" of trying her clothes on behind her back. Karen Marie was to be my name if I had been born female, while Collins was her maiden name. So it's stuck with me when I have dressed en femme for about 25 years now...

Hmmmm. Interesting question. I never gave it a thouhgt before but now I think I shall adopt the name "la Grande" as it is thought the to be the original form of my real surname. However, I shall be doing a bit more research into that to check my facts.

Wow sure was a lot of replys here, I just wondered if you use your real last name or not.

A couple of weeks ago I was talking on the phone with Sandra the head of the local Tri-Ess chapter for the first time, and I interduced my self to her by my fem name and real last name, she said thanks but told me a lot of the girls come up with a diffrent last name also and it's some thing I never thought of before.

Well I got some good ideas from you all here so i'll let you now in a day or so what I come up with.

To those who know me and respect me, I use my real last name. When first meeting someone or posting on the "boards" I use a name that is the first syllable of my last name to protect myself a little bit until I know them better.

I choose one that reflects my personality. Mercedes is expensive in taste, well dressed and constantly maintained. Sabrina has expensive tastes. She doesn't always get what seh wants, but she sure knows good when she sees it. She also is always well dressed. Skirts, blouses, dresses, shoes, Sabrina just loves to dress up and she always needs loving care.
Since she is me, I guess that's me too.

Ellie
03-29-2006, 06:02 PM
I haven't really needed or even tried to think of a femme last name. My real name didn't include a convenient middle name.

Hmmmm...

Ellie Smith? Jones? - too general
Ellie Edwards? - too alliterative

Maybe a good southern name, after all Ellie came from Ellie Mae Clampit of the "Beverly Hillbillies"?

Any suggestions?

HaleyPink2000
03-29-2006, 08:01 PM
A few posts past. I was wondering about a name for me. Thought and thought. Everyone said on here keep Haley so I am!

As for my Mid name, yes I'm keeping the P for Pink.

For a last name I touught for weeks over that one. Being Celtic in my blood line I needed a Celt name. My blood line led me to the name Kemp. So from back in my blood line I'm going to use the last name of Kemp.

Haley P. Kemp is the complete idea I came up with. This was done with some help from my Sisters on here.

suzanne claire
03-29-2006, 08:16 PM
Suzanne Claire Foster as it sounded Southern.:D

Robin
03-29-2006, 08:21 PM
McPeek is a family name. Robin is the name my mother was going to give to her baby girl that turned out to be me. I've felt like twins trapped in the same body since I was 8 or so. I think she recognized this early on, perhaps even before I did.

Joy Carter
03-29-2006, 08:52 PM
Well since I have given her a name I feel better about myself. I meet a woman when I was about ten and she was about twenty. She was deeply tanned, dark short hair, great shape ( god I was ten ) and had this great personality. Her name was Joy and she treated me like her favorite little brother. She sent me postcards for a while and I never forgot her. To me Joy means a happy memory and so goes the name Joy, Carter because it is a family name. I liked the two together because The first sounds happy and up lifting and Carter is stable and down to earth. Middlename not yet I'm working on that one.

I had a female Malamute 20 some years ago, and when I moved in where I am now I had the phone put in her name. Kind of an unlisted number and a great way to screen calls. Three years later we got rid of the dog because she was jealous (and VERY threatening) to our new born baby. After I got divorced a few years later and then remarried a few years after that, my new wife wanted me to have a fem name. So I thought what better name than the name I was listed as in the phone book. After a second divorce and the start up of my new bizness I finally changed the listing to my biz name. What a hassle that was trying to convince the phone company I really was Katie Z Wolfe.

I use my surname, it took way to long to come up with a femme first and middle name I liked. Besides, I like my last name and I don't consider myself a different person when en femme, I'm still me just the femme me.

I felt I needed a full name to complete the femme image I try to present, so what better choice than my mother's maiden name. It is particularly meaningful now as it is a constant reminder of the lady who meant so much to me and whose company and voice I can no longer enjoy.
