Have you ever googled your Fem name? I was curious one day and did so to learn that there are a number of GG's that I share my fem name with. If you look at some of the profiles that come up there are many that are successful, attractive and are to be admired.
And no, I did not see myself show up on any of the searches. I suppose that is a good thing!

There are not one, but two gorgeous, well known media figures plus a bridal shop in Connecticut named April Rose. you could probably go 100 pages deep into Google and never find anything related to me.

OMG I get numerous hits and of course none of them are me, but apparently at least one is cross dresser. I guess I should have checked before picking the name. I was originally thinking about Sandi the squirrel on spongebob but changed it. Oh well, if you see anyone going by Sandi Beech on another web site, it is not I.

I found what Urban Dictionary has for "Mary Ann"...
" Mary Ann is a girl that cares like no other, you can always count on her because she isn?t the the type of person to leave your side or hurt you. She doesn?t really like giving people second chances but if she really cares about you then she?ll give you plenty. Knowing a Mary Ann can change your life, making it better because no matter what you do to hurt her she?ll literally always be the type of person to be there and help you out but once you?ve done her wrong too many times she?ll end up being done for good. Shes hella loyal and only focuses on one guy in particular. When talking to her she will always find a way to make your day better, if she doesn?t then she doesn?t give up on trying to make you smile."
:) I guess I made a good choice.

When I search mine, I get a couple of young professionals in real estate and gynecology. So much to live up to!

Out of interest after reading this thread i googled my forum name.
Not surprisingly, as i took the name of a fictional adventuress, there are no real people showing up.
However it's amazing what does share my name: furniture chainstore (no really, there is:lol:) , turkish timeshare flats, indian university, espresso machines, brand of hair straighteners, the list goes on....
No sign of me tho, so anonimity hopefully secure for a while yet.
Of course I had to google my name just now.... apparently, there's something on Pinterest called a Sammara.Squirrelfish. Lol
But I'm surprised my girly Facebook profile didn't show up :strugglin

My own instagram came up. Guess that makes me unique?

Micki, there is another CD by you same name that has a blog. She is cool too, but in a different subculture than yourself.
And of course your name is also a reference to a practice of preparing an "enhanced" drink
As for me, both my screen name hear and my nom-de-plume with Crossport and FB, etc. Lead back to me almost exclusively. I made up my surname, but it is closely associated with an existing French surname, but the spelling is a tiny bit different.

It’s also a reference to the drummer from T-Rex and one of the founding members of the Runaways. It’s also just my screen name. Not a lot of Micki Laportes out there.

I made up a last name to go with my made up first name and there's a Canadian motivational speaker with the same name. Sorry!

I get female Robin Hood costumes and an insurance agent.

I just "google" Stephanie47 and found on "tendersingles" a bio and picture of a 36 year old woman living in New York City. I'm twice her age.

Mary Ann is also the title of a song recorded by The Alice Cooper Group. It can be found on the second side of the 'Billion Dollar Babies' album, released in 1973

Lots of interesting women who I share a name with, including:
Margaret Jones (1613 – June 15, 1648) was the first person to be executed for witchcraft in Massachusetts Bay Colony during a witch-hunt that lasted from 1648 to 1663.
Never had anything of mine come up though.

Thank you for this thread.
In addition to everything else, “Patience” is a milkmaid and the title character of an Opera by Gilbert & Sullivan.
I’m watching it now. Love it.

I only wish I looked as good as the sole person from Ireland that I found when I googled.
Indeed, a very interesting suggestion for a thread.

My wife did this to see if I'd been "outed" somehow.
Nothing came up at all and we were both satisfied with that.

That's an interesting take. I've also googled to see if there was any link between my male and female personas. There is nothing obvious. However, there are links back to you via email addresses. Even if you have an alternate email address, typically it eventually links back to you through some billable or traceable account, or back up recovery address. Someone willing to pay for a search service can probably link you back. Something to think about in cases of getting a security clearance a job application or a divorce. Not to be too paranoid, but be aware that your privacy is not all that secure.

One of the members of my SO's CD group signed up for a credit card in his fem name. Now when the "White pages" are googled, there is his guy name, wife's name, and his fem name, ages, (previously his address also showed up but not sure if "White pages" shows that any longer). Not sure if he could ever get that off of White pages, it's his problem to deal with.
For those of you who want to remain anonymous, be careful what you do. The World Wide Web casts a large net.

My femme name is the name of a friends g/f who was very attractive, I loved her name and to an extent...her so I borrowed completely...her name and when I'd search in Facebook her name would come up and I was right underneath. When i google and search images I'd find my pics posted on a forum or from the makeover places I've been to. I was watching videos of CD's on youtube once and up came my pic that someone made (video of stills taken from the internet) I was flattered seeing my pic in a "beautiful crossdressers" type video.

The top three results I got were:
1. a laxative.
2. a healthcare company
3. a horse.
Further down the list is an article about a woman who poisoned her baby.
Maybe I should go back to Amy...
(feeling sorry that I looked.)

Actually, my name comes up to a male photographer. That was the only hit.
