My new girly sunglasses arrived last night. I put on a blouse, some lipstick and my wig to model them for my wife. When we settled in for TV time, I took off the wig, but left my lipstick and blouse on.

I told my wife that I like how I looked with my longer hair and some lipstick (but no wig or other makeup). She smiled and replied, "You look like a lesbian." Not sure how she meant it, but I took it as a complement. With nothing more than longer hair combed up and a bit of lipstick, she thought I looked femme, butch femme, but femme!! That really made my day.

Having had the great fortune to have met you and your lovely bride, I can vouch here for the gem you are married to! Bless you both.

Hopefully, it was meant as one, as it probably was.

Kandi, I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to my wife.
Yes, I'm sure it was a complement, she had a playful smile on her face when she said it.

Let's hope it was a compliment. You know your wife better than anyone else but sometimes there's a hidden meaning in what women say.

Just because you look like a lesbian doesn’t make you less of a being.
