How often do you dress?

Heres a fun question, how often do you dress, or alternatively, get the urge to dress?. I guess this can depend on if you are with someone, or live alone, hrm, ok, for those girls with restrictions, how often would you dress if you had the chance :) ?

As for me it alternates, I'll go through a binge for a couple weeks or months where I try to dress at least partially every few days, but at the same time I've gone for months and even years without even really thinking much about it.

For over a year now, I spend nearly every weekend dressed to the nines. After work on Fridays, I come home, take a long, hot bath, shave my body, attach my breast forms, do my makeup and nails, and spend the next two days as the woman I should have been. As a bachelor/bachlorette, I have this wonderful freedom.

This is my life now, and I love it! The only problem is returning to my male persona on Monday. Sometimes this leap backward is such a crushing blow to my psyche... almost more than I can bear.

The attached picture is hardly me, but does match the look I strive for...

A little everyday. Some days more than others. Almost full time on weekends. I've reached the point in my life where I don't really try to hide it. I've found acceptance from friends and family and strangers (who really cares what people who don't know you think?).

Seriously though, it is so much a part of me that when I go somewhere to eat, shop, visit friends or family or when someone drops by they don't know whether I will be en femme or not. I've found that it doesn't matter to the people who know me. They like me for all of me.

If I had my way it would be everynight when I get home from work but there are times when I dont want to take the time and trouble to do all the things required to dress.If I had more freedom it might be different.

OK, I dress every morning for work and change my blouse(I always wear women's jeans to work)and remove my makeup when I get there. I spend maybe 50% of my time at home en femme. Anytime I am in drab, it's likely that I will still be wearing women's jeans, women's socks, women's sneakers, panties and most times, a bra. Of course, bedtime is time for a frilly nighty! So I guess you could say that I spend very little time dressed totally in drab, even though you'd have to look to see what the difference is.

Dressing for me comes in cycles. I have times of high interest and times of low interest. When I'm low I can go weeks without dressing up, this happens when I'm playing a lot of sports. Luckily the lows are few and far between. When I'm on a high point,(like lately) I will dress almost every weeknight and all day on one, if not both days of the weekend.

With a supportive wife like I have, the opportunity to dress whenever I want gives me the freedom to dress as often as I feel the need to.

I find that when I am unable to dress the urge to do it is stronger. Then when I am able to do it alot, then the urge to do so wanes.

I remember when I was still living at home and much younger ,and the urge was almost overwelming. Then when I got my own place and could do it when I pleased, I would rarely do it at all.

Its still pretty much closeted, I would love to be able to do it outside but often daydream about being dressed in the moment, wherever I am.

I do an average of about 2-3 times /week now. But only get dressed to the nines occasionally(make-up and all).

My wife knows and is supportive. In fact she has often offered me the opp to do it and I have declined on several occasions. If you just don't feel it, you just don't feel it at the time.

It can (not always) be a turn on for her, she's pounced my feminine bones on several occasions. When I first came out to her during our courtship, it was a very erotic experience, she would really get into it. Things kinda cooled off since then, but could heat up at any given moment.

Even in light of this, I still struggle with acceptance issues, I should count my blessings and move on with and enjoy life.

My Father is away for two and half weeks and this has been my routine since he left, but will stop next Monday when he gets back from the other side of the Country.

You could say I dress 80% lingerie and 40% outerwear on a daily basis. Makeup is far less, more like 10% of the time. I just need more clothes - getting bored wearing the same things regulary!

When I'm in cycle, I am dressed most of the times but there would be times when I just let it go because I'm playing a catch up game with myself.. as male.
