I have been dressing for years.I love it as much now as I did when I was in my twenties. I still feel so fem when I am dressed but looks now are not what they were. My legs are still in great shape, and still look hot in 5" stilettos that I love to wear all the time. So does it stop at a certain point or do you just die with your heels on.LOL Love Tammy

Some stop, most don't.

If you die with your heels on, do you want to be buried in them? :cheeky:

Hi Tammy

Well, I'm getting to be an old goat, still going strong. I've accepted myself as Karen, that's who I am and will always be.

To tell the truth, I hope it doesn't stop. I feel like I've been through the hard part, and I enjoy the crossdressing more than ever now.

You are never too old. Perhaps it becomes less exciting and more routine but it remains very enjoyable. You probably have to dress down a little as ultra smart women tend to stand out among the old dears in their tracksuits!

I'm in my mid fifties, still dress and I feel I look younger as my fem self. I haven't set an age at which I'll hang up my pumps yet. Just enjoying each day at a time.

A woman that will tell you her age, will tell you anything honey? My God, I lie about my gender, why would I not lie about my age? Seriously, I just celebrated my second anniversary of my 26th birthday.:cheeky:

I will be dressing until I go to the great closet in the sky. Told the wife to bury me in my best frock that I have at that time.

If only I'd been as brave at 24 as I am at 64! I still love it and always will.

Maybe when I have to use a walker, I'll kick the heels off. In the mean time dropped the 5" heels for 3-4" ones, sometimes 2" ones.

Age has nothing to do with dressing.

You try and tell an eighty year old woman to stop getting dressed, and she'll clobber you with her Zimmer frame

CDing is in the mind (and some cases the heart). No matter what age you are, if you want to dress you'll dress, and if you don't thats fine.
BUT YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A CROSSDRESSER.

Or just use it as an excuse to wear pantyhose more.

When I was in my 20's I use to think this would go away when I got in my 4's or 50's. I am 49 now and I am seeing this will probably last all my life. I see other CDersin their 60's and 70's

I am thinking the only thing different with age might be the length of your skirt. That is if you go out dressed,if so the length might be longer. If your at home keep your skirts as short as you like them. I am 47 but in my mind I see a woman in her thirties when I look in the mirror. Yeah I know, Alzheimer's setting in already.

Well, to my way of thinking, age is a matter of 'mind over matter'........... You are as old as you feel. If one doesn't feel like dressing, because of age or dexterity, then one shouldn't.

Very individual thing I guess.

Sweet Suan, I have varicose veins, quite bad ones. It doesn't stop me from showing my legs. But I rarely don't wear stockings of course.

I have the opinion that Pantihose/Tights are not good for Varicose veins. (buit I could have the wrong opinion)

My mother is in a nursing home, not recovering from a stroke. Her biggest complaint is that she is now just along for the ride, with no control whatsoever over her own life.

This is one reason I plan to take up nude skydiving (that's "sans parachute" for the uninitiated) when my nest egg is consumed (currently projected to occur about 2.3 minutes after retirement). I would rather die on my terms than be forced to wear socially acceptable men's clothing for the rest of my life.

Hugs,

Bernice

Hmmm, I wonder if nursing homes allow residents to crossdress? I might need to do some homework if I ever face that possibility.

Like many of the preceding comments stated age is a state of mind more so than a physical state. However, each person has an answer that suites their current age. Did I ever consider that I would still be dressing at my current age? To be honest, I started out late in life fully dressing. So for me, I will continue to dress as long as I'm physically able to. When I do dress with the makeup and wig I feel and look a lot younger than my real age. So yes, I will continueto dress until I'm no longer able. In fact, my wife promised to slip a pair of panties in my casket when I reached my life's quota. At least I will have an article of my favorite clothing when I move on. I was at the Fantasia Fair in Provincetown this past fall and one of the ladies who performed in the talent show was 77 yrs old and indicated she would go on as long as possible. So you're never too old. Sally2
