Came out to my parents

A little about me I live in a basement apt and my folks live on the top part. I was in their living room and my mother said ."Hey your brother showed me some of your pictures he found on the internet....Are you a crossdresser?" I sat there for a minute and took a deep breath and I said. "Yes yes I am I figure after everything I have been through I deserve to do things that make me happy." She said "Ok well I have known longer than you have why do you think I have giving you heels and the woman's Halloween costumes? You are right tho you do deserve to do what makes you happy just keep it down stairs..By the way you make a good looking woman stick with skirts tho you dont want to hide thoes legs" So there we go I finally came out and the world did not end. The next day my mother told me she was going to clean out her closet and i get first pik.

Thats ok though. I would do what you did in that situation, and just roll with it.
I think most mothers aren't so nieve that they don't know what's going with their kids, especially at a younger age.

Well, congratulations on a successful reveal, although unintended. Nice to have some degree of acceptance. From her comment I get the feeling not everyone in the family wants to have an encounter with Brandie. Obviously, not only your mother knows, but your brother also. Why else would he find pictures of you en femme?

When I was a teenager and young adult during the 1960's if my parents were able to catch me wearing my mother's clothing I would have been strongly encouraged to vacate the apartment, if not seriously slapped around. They were homophobic. Back then any male who wore women's clothing was deemed to be a homosexual.

The other day i got the winter clothes out of storage for her to unpack she going throw them tells me i may want to look and see if i want some of her things, I ended up with 4 dresses 5 skirts and a few blouses. I've got a great wife. i am truly blessed.:hugs:

I talked to them about that and they said to ease people into it let them get use to the idea. I would shock the other if I showed up in a dress which i understand that.
