Hi,

I have just finished watching the movie Transamerica. At the start when she gets dressed she puts on a pair of tights. I was just wondering if anyone who has seen this movie know what these tights are, they looked white and really thick.

By the way the movie was very good.

you can get womens tights any place their noraly near the stocking and pantihose. i have a few paires for my little girl dresses when i feel like beiing a little princess.

I wish I knew where I could see it.
So far, it hasn't shown at any of the local theaters that I know of.
The nearest one has been at a theater over an hours drive away.

I guess I just may have to wait for it on DVD.

I agree with you Francine, I don't see it anywhere at theatres. I'll wait for dvd. I'll also look in the metro timres.

I just read this evening that the scheduled release of "TransAmerica" movie to DVD is May 9th.

Tights around here don't last long. I bought two pair for me a while back. You know where they did go. My wife wore them. Oh well time to go back to the store. LOL:)

You can get really good opaque tights at dancewear stores and figure skating stores. I've heard that you can get the thing that male ballet dancers wear to keep the family jewels in place and that it's great when you are wearing loose skirts and dresses.

I saw it at our local "arts" theater. It's great! You might have to go to a large city or liberal university town like mine. Good luck!

Watched it the other night and yes it's a brilliant movie not to be missed.
BTW i have to own up to downloading it, i know thats naughty but i just couldn't wait.:o :)

Yes a good thick pair of white tights are hard to find
