Just wondering if anyone rides motorcycles while dressed?

Marianne S

Sorry, no!

Dressed yes! Even while out, once or twice.

Rode motorcycles, yes! Specifically, a Kawasaki KZ550.

Now in my red 5-liter Capri (like the Mustang) with the T-top, I looked good as Marianne. Still got a picture somewhere.

But put Marianne together with motorcycling, and it didn't seem to go, somehow. We all have our prejudices and "fixed ideas," so of course, "your mileage may vasy," as they say. Be interested to hear from anyone else. Take care!

I rode on the back of my BF's Harley, does that count?

And yes, I was in a skirt

I only ride motorcycles with thick jacket, heavy pants, gloves, helmet and boots. I've seen what happens to skin when a motorcycle dumps and it's not pretty. Be careful to anyone who rides with a lot of skin showing. Skin grafts aren't pretty.

AMEN! I was in a fairly low speed crash (around 30 mph) - and in a leather jacket. I still got chewed up because I was in "normal" pants.

I'd hate to think what would have happened if I'd been in something that showed more skin.

If you ride - be careful, dress appropriately, and ENJOY it. I miss it, and would still ride, but back pain stops me.

If you are wearing the appropriate gear, it's actually quite drab and androgynous. If you are wearing a nice outfit, you are risking your skin and bones. Hard pass.

On the motorcycle it is always ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time)

Riding as a passenger is a lot more fun. Especially on a big comfy Harley cruiser.

Like the others, I’m attgatt. Under, I have worn thongs as well as stockings. I’ve carried some lovely items with me while riding. I’m small with long hair, I’ve been mistaken for a female rider more than once. ;-)

Rode my dirt bike with forms once. Needs some refinement but I'd do it again!

Yes I do quite often, when it is cooler I usually have leather jacket and chaps over my jeans. A good fitting bra and forms are standard equipment. In the warmer weather I normally go with just a lighter motorcycle jacket. You can see the outline of my breasts but when you have a helmet {Canada is law to wear one unless your religion dictates that you can't} on with hair coming out the back who knows if you are a girl or guy dressed. As for make up, I wear that too, I have found that magnetic eyelashes do stay on. I have made many miles both in the city on my 650 Aquilla and on the highway with my 1900 Roadliner. I say go for it.

Just female jeans and as always, panties. But I feel the need to wear appropriate protective gear as I?ve been down twice and it saved my ass. I do fancy riding as a passenger in short skirt, thi hi boots and crop top, but no one wants to see that, trust me.

Yep... my hip/butt forms, black leggings, 3" heel booties, black turtle neck sweater, bra and forms, long wig and makeup and a half helmet to keep my hair on. I got more than one "honk" and some looks at the stop lights... loved it!!!:daydreaming:

An old friend told me when I got my first bike to "Dress for the slide, not the ride". That was a very long time ago but it is still sound advice.

ATGATT here as well, but I underdress (bra, panties) every day so ... in a sense ... yes I ride while dressed.

I have done it a few times in the past, but it's not as satisfying as it sounds. I only ride with a full face helmet, full riding suit, and heavy boots. When I've got all that gear on, you can't tell if there is a man or a woman in it. I don't like getting makeup on the inside of my helmet and taking the helmet off without pulling my wig off is a challenge. I much prefer riding in my Pontiac convertible with the top down when I'm dressed fully femme.

I have definitely underdressed while riding my motorcycle, with all the appropriate gear over the top, it felt nice to combine two of my favourite things, motorcycles and dressing, not sure if that counts towards the question you were asking

I would love to ride dressed but the thaught of losing skin if things go wrong is enough to stop that plan but I do sometimes ride under dressed and its a good feeling especialy when its warm and I can wear just a leather jacket over bra and forms but it always makes me ride more slowly, as the thaught of a hospital visit is scary so maybe crossdresing should be considered a safety feature

When i rode motorcycles i allways did it dressed --to cold to ride naked...:)

I've ridden a bicycle a couple of time. the helmet gives my wig helmet hair.
Thats the interesting thing about CDing not many do other things while dressed. Its malls and shopping or clubbing. I guess thats a difference between CDs and trans folks. Have you tried working in your garden or painting your house?

Just panties

Lacey, I hope you had more than just panties on

Bridgettek2020

Atgatt, except a half helmet in hot weather. Doesn't show much male or female. A cheap wig maybe, but it seems like it would get beat into a cocked hat. With a half helmet you could show makeup. Maybe high heeled riding boots? I've ridden for thirty five years, and needed my protective gear.

I mentioned to my wife I would love to go out wearing forms, skinny jeans and my thigh high boots. I would be wearing a jacket and full face helmet. The boots would be very noticeable, but not sure forms would be apparent under a jacket.

Well more than just panties. Kind of breezy otherwise - and sheer nylon does not protect much.

I've ridden on the back of my best friends bike . Short shorts and heels. Just across town, does that count.

Why is everyone so darn practical about motorcycle safety? :)

char GG

Probably because skin grafts, broken limbs, and head injuries are not pretty.

Why is everyone so practical about motorcycle safety? Let's see, if you ever spent time sliding down the road at 55 mph hoping you didn't slide into your bike before stopping you wouldn't be asking. Trust me it's not fun getting up after the slide and seeing that your protective gear has been worn away down into the internal armor and knowing that the only thing that has kept you out of the hospital is that replaceable gear. And yes, I am speaking from experience.

I have ridden for 50 years and have had a few interesting crashes. Everything from low speed dirt bike dumps, to one about 45 MPH in early spring when I hit a patch of ice, to a 75 MPH slide in a highway ditch. Plus others. The crazy part is I walked away from all of them with very little injuries, just bumps and bruises. One would think it was the riding gear that saved me, but I never have been one to gear up. Typically jeans, boots, a light jacket, helmet and gloves, but rarely the heavily armored riding gear. I have been known to run over to the hardware stop in a t, shorts and flip flops.

I went for a ride with the Tamworth branch of the Ulysses Club for the first time a few weeks ago, yes I did wear all the protective gear but also wore aqua blue nail polish, eye shadow, mascara and lipstick, I also wore a bright pink polo shirt under my jacket with a bra and forms under it. The other members that I did speak to didn't have any issue with it and there were about 20 of us altogether male and female. I also used Sophie as my name as that is now my legal name. Next chance I get I'll go on another ride with them.
This was my leg after a rather nasty accident back in April 2017. Levi jeans don't offer much protection.

Ouch! in my younger days when I rode it was always at least jeans, boots, gloves and a leather jacket. But if youre talking about a fantasy I'd probably dress like Frank n Furter.

Once I went to meet a guy. Under my jeans and t-shirt, I was wearing garter, with stockings, g-string and a bustier. On the road my t-shirt kept going up my back, and me lingerie was a bit visible. I was very turned on!

As a idea of how much protection you get from jeans in a slide, I have an odd shaped kneecap from where the tarmac ground it away when I hit the road at 60, and it was over thirty years ago, stockings would have just melted into the wound, not much fun

Just back from a 6 hour ride 2 hours ago - would have been longer except the road destroyed my pants and favorite jacket.

You should always wear the proper gear when you ride, but thats no reason not to dress pretty. Here is my go to riding leathers. I also have a black, white, and teal leather jacket I wear with Kevlar lined leggings. There is some really nice women's gear out there now.

Once, in a race, I had a motorcycle run over my back, stopping when the engine case gouged my helmet. In about 1975 in Little Rock Arkansas I went down hard on my bare forearm. The last "little rock" worked its way out from under my skin about five years ago, so, yes, I'm a gear-up girl. Still wear cute underthings, though.:daydreaming:

Sold my Harley around 2010 just thinking about the look on my biker buddies faces seeing me in a cute dress and heels makes me giggle. Living in the MPLS metro area it just became to dangerous too many poor drivers on the road.

The last bike I rode was in 1985. I did use to ride it dressed, but I always had my leathers on. So I doubt any one ever noticed as my size and frame override any female ques, sat on a motor bike. For the record I also slid it down an A road one winters night and got up a walked away. Like a lot of folk I had freids that were not so lucky.

KimberlyJean - super sexy!

I was invited to go on a ride with a Lesbian motorcycle club! The woman who invited me didn?t know I cross dressed, so was kind of surprised when I asked ?Should I dress the part??

Wore my regular riding gear and helmet, with some biig boobs and a long blonde wig (so it would hang out the back). My friend thought it was awesome, the butchier girls were kind of offended/hostile, and the femme girls started doing my makeup! It was great fun. She teased me forever. Have a pic but don’t have her permission to display.

I have a 1968 Triumph 650 which is my road bike, and two small Yamaha dirt bikes for the trails. I wear all the proper gear, but that doesn't mean the panties, bra, and hose don't go along, too! What amazes me in the Summer is the folks riding around in shorts, tank top, flip flops, and no helmet!

Nope, I am on a Harley form, and this comes up every so often, at least the protective gear part. If you mean the CD'ing part on the conversation? Yep, that wouldn't go very far. Harley riders are way to tough to ever admit that they cross dress!

I also ride a BMW, now those guys are crazy about wearing protective gear, they don't talk CD'ing much either!

I suppose if I was wearing forms under my leather it would help my chest cavity i.e. ribs to road burn....

The whole HD Lifestyle thing is wierd.

I stop if they are broken down but otherwise cruisers are not something I?m interested in.

Spent 7 hours on the dirt bike a couple of weeks ago. 56 miles. Sportsbra, forms, Hot pink socks and gloves. It was a beautiful day!
