so ive seen a couple of these compilation videos on youtube. about 3-4 minutes long, of still photos of crossdressers/transgender gals...

Ive seen images of FOUR girls i recognize from here...

She has black hair, usually dressed very classy or a sheer negligee'. often on a set of stairs which looks like they might be in her kitchen . her images are always a little bit soft focus or blurred as if taken with a very low-resolution camera...

Another is from a S.A. country. she has very beautiful eyes and features. she's been transgendered for several years now...

the other two gals, I dont know their names but one is from Europe i believe, the other girl ive followed her progress as she's grown in her dressing skills and ability...

I dont know if the members GAVE permission to use their photos in the videos or not, but just a heads up that someone might be mining pictures from here or other social media, in case you need to protect your identities...

Moderator Note

I would hope none of these pictures were from the gallery.

Anyone found leaking pictures from there would instantly banned.

Well that's the risk you take when you post pictures on the Internet.

Rule #1 Don't post anything that you don't want anyone to see on the Internet. Because once it's out there you have no control over who sees it, downloads it, or what they do with it afterwards.

There are a few members who over the years have posted links to other platforms such a Flickr where they have accounts. If that's what they want to do that's their prerogative but not something I'm inclined to do personally.

YT does have a wealth of videos of CD'ers and Tgirls, some good, some less so but again that's personal choice. I do think it can be valuable for those starting to venture out to see just what's possible with the right clothes and a bit of confidence.

There are thousands of crossdressing related videos on YouTube. Just put crossdress, or crossdressing, or crossdressed, or man to woman transformation, or transvestite, and you will get a long list of videos. Many crossdressing makeover specialists promote their services on YouTube.

One thing people have to be aware of is there is no expectation of privacy when in a public space or forum. Go to Wal-Mart and you'll end up on some sort of compilation. Walk down the street and you may end up on someone's personal social media account. However, someone cannot use you image for financial gain without your consent. I don't believe I have seen any of the women from this site on Youtube without themselves posting the image or video. I have seen images of some women from this site when I enter into a search engine; images of www.crossdressers.com. Try it some time. Most of the pictures are of avatars. One other thing to consider is whether or not the background in the picture is distinctive; household furnishings, vehicles, etc.

I do peruse the Youtube crossdressing videos to see how wonderful some presentation are.

Tami,

I search YT using; crossdresser public, it tends to limit the number of hits focusing more on those who venture out.

You'll certainly find a good few who demonstrate that blending and having confidence will allow you to move freely amongst the general public. Careful observation of who achieves the best outcomes can provide valuable pointers for those venturing out and about.

Leesametz,
It's a very grey area , you need to read the fine print on the social media sites , I was amazed what some are allowed to do with pictures . The individual has the right to say how a picture is used assuming they have knowledge of that .

A while ago it was debated what rights people had of taking pictures of a CDer out in public and using them as they chose .

As Roberta points out we take the chance on the internet , lets not forget the open sections on the forum are visible to most of the English speaking World , the responsibility stops with us when we chose to tell or post pictures of our lives .

The instant you post a picture online, you have surrendered control of that image for eternity. Once it's up in the cloud, it is out there forever.

The main reason you will not see a head shot of me! I don't want to show up at work and find a pic of me in a dress on the bulletin board!

This is correct. You may think you have legal rights concerning your photo, and you may, but in practical terms, you don't. Anyone can photograph you anywhere and post it on line. It's illegal to hide a camera in a dressing room and then post the photos on line, but people still do it.

Hopefully, your female photo is different enough from your male image that people won't recognize you. If not, you have some work to do on your female presentation.

Concerning crossdressing videos on youtube, I find it rare to see one that looks like an actual normal female walking around town. 90% are recognizable as crossdressing males within the first few seconds. We may think we are passing, but in most of these videos, we are not.

These people are wearing the outfits and makeup, but many have no hips and most are walking like a man, hanging their head down, etc. And of course the heels are too high and the skirts are too short. These videos are a good lesson in what not to do.

The only ones I have seen on YT are very flattering personal sites of passable crossdressers. I try to exercise reasonable caution but if anyone ever confronted me about a photo on a crossdresser video would be ?do you have a secret too?? It?s kind of like worrying that someone might call me out for going to a liquor store or strip club (or in our case maybe a drag show). They had to be there too.

It's really cool that some of us can evaluate ourselves so far above any one of that foolhardy YT mob. I mean, most of us don't use a face avatar here, and of those that do, some will have taken like a hundred pics in search of the perfect lighting / angle combination.

Those that do motion video, say a 10 second video at 30fps - in theory that's around 300 of their frames available for the viewer to freeze. All angles, all light positions . . not just the best combo. I've tried video, and I found the going pretty tough.

In our gallery, in the first 5 pages, there are zero videos. I got tired of scrolling along. If doing video were as flattering as doing pics . ..

There are many places where you could find pictures of one of us. We certainly have legal rights to them but it is virtually impossible to remove them from the Internet once you upload them. The moral is: if you don't want others to share your photos, avoid uploading them.

There are so many videos like that with so many harvested pictures that the odds of someone stumbling upon 'you' is probably pretty low unless you're one of our more famous members who pop up a lot.
