Big night to tonight!

I get to dress tonight! Its hard to find time and space that allows that. So my wife and I decided that after we put our daughter to bed, we?d have the evening to do it. I?m most excited that my wife was looking forward to it today!

It is great when your wife is willing to play along with your CD'ing.

My wife and I have "girls nights" where we dress up and primp, do our nails and just sit and visit.

First off, I want to convey to you the significance of last night to me. Its only the fourth time I?ve spent a big chunk of time while dressed up with full makeup, wig, etc. it was only the second time my wife was willing to spend time with Chloe.

When driving home I was convinced she was only tolerating it and begrudgingly allowing it to happen. But no! She was actually looking forward to it. She said it was going to be a fun night. :)

After we put my daughter down, I picked out an outfit and started my makeup. My wife imagined us drinking wine while I got ready, but I didnt know that and kept the door shut while I did my makeup. It took about an hour. She was a bit disappointed. I told her I?ll keep open next time.

After I was all ready she seemed pretty accepting of it, loved my eye makeup a lot, and said it?s getting easier seeing me like that. We drank a bottle of red wine, I tried on various outfits, some were good, some pieces were silly and fun. I loved all my new clothes from stitch Fix. We had a good time, shared some laughs, it was a good night.
