As someone who is new to this world, all the acronyms are flying right over my head. If you can define some, please do. Thanks in advance for the help!

Here are a couple for starters:
DADT = Don't Ask Don't Tell (describes a relationship where the partner doesn't want to know)
GG = Genetic Girl (A female from birth)
MIAD = Man in a Dress (A crossdresser who wears feminine clothes but doesn't seriously attempt to pass as a female)

FAB=Female At Birth
MAB=Male At Birth
CD=Crossdresser

I believe there is a sticky to help with some terms or acronyms maybe look in the TS section . My pet hate is SO , I could never use that to describe another person , it's either wife or partner which covers either gender .
