I have also thought about going as Daria Morgendorffer and Meg Griffin.

A dear friend I met on this site sent me a white halter-top dress designed for the purpose.
Yes, I was out in public in Saugatuck, on Lake Michigan. My friend was taking pictures. I was at a park, standing on a dock waiting for the wind to blow. No wind, but I got some catcalls from a couple fisherman in a boat going by at a distance.

Megg from Megg and Mogg - I love the series, and the creator actually crossdressers. The character, a witch, is trapped between her relationship with a cat (Mogg) and her interest in a TG friend of theirs.

Wednesday Addams - I like that she's not really glamorous, but still has an iconic look.

I have never done cosplay, but if i did it would have to be the dark sorceress Morghanna from "Knightmare" many years ago. (Or her successor Malice, who wore the same outfit.) I've never done cosplay, but I wore this outfit all day at last years Regional Street Rod Nationals in Springfield MO. which was a three day event with thousands of attendees. I had lots of people use my camera to take photos of me with their cars or with cars they were standing near. I have also worn the same outfit to Saint Joseph and Kansas City car shows. There were very few ladies similarly dressed, so I definitely stood out.

Well, it won't be a specific character, but when I'm finished, she will have long flaming red hair, leather armor, and articulating dragon wings with about a 10 foot span when fully opened, and with me being 6'3", she will attract a lot of attention.

For some reason Mimi from the old Drew Carey Show jumps into my head as it would be fun, and slightly less obvious. I'm "big boned", so the body type would work also. And it's not in any way to make fun of crossdressing since her character was a little over the top and more drag queen(esque) in her makeup. To me dressing for cosplay is different than crossdressing for realism.
