I'm curious -- how tall are you (w/o heels)?
I am 5' 11" -- which would make me a tallish girl.
Weight -- none of your @%$& business!!

Funny you should ask. Today I am all dolled up. Including painted nails.
I decided to measure myself. I am 48 bust, 40 waist, and 44 hips. I am 5'9" tall less heels. I have my new dress on today. Can I share the photo here?

6ft5 on a good day, so zero chance of me ever passing. Weigh in at 188, so a size 12 is a squeeze these days, but I'm aiming to get back to the 180 that I used to be.

Geena,
I'm 5' 7" weight about 150lbs but creeping up , my stats are 37" bust 31" waist 37" hips , age ... like a good cheese , mature ! Hopefully not as smelly !
I have to consider now it's possibly as good as it gets for my age , I hope I have a few good years to enjoy what I have .
As for heel height how stupid I want to be or how much my feet complain , 3.5 " is comfortable , 4" manageable , 5" suicidal !

I dress appropriate age, I don’t fully pass, but don’t draw attention to myself either. SAs and other shoppers offer comment on some item I’m wearing positively. I present as most other 50 y/o shoppers. Mostly wedges and flats. Heels (3”) if I’m in a pretty dress. Before COVID-19 I’d also get a little bit more dressed before visiting my girl at the MAC counter.

Cindy,
That's where having a dog worked for me , I lost 28lbs in two months just with the increase in my walking pace when I got a new dog ,sadly now she's passed on . That's partly why I've continued to go out with dog walkers I've come to know .

5'8"ish... 170 lbs. I was 270 lbs at one point in my life but went keto diet and lost that ugly 100! Depending on the make, size 12 or 14 dress. Dream of losing another 15 lbs or so with a goal of a size 10 dress. The slimmer I got the better dresses look on me.

Geena,
I'm 5' 11" and weigh 155 Lbs. I almost always dress with some form of high heels.
Recently I saw a girl at least a foot taller than me.
I don't think being around 6 ' and wearing heels is a problem if you blend in reasonably well and are dressed appropriately for the occasion. I have overheard a man comment about me to his wife "Did you see how tall she is ?".

I'm 5' 11" and currently about 155 lbs, waist measuring 33.5". On those grounds at least I would be on the edge of "passing," if it weren't for my face and voice!
Some years ago after I quit smoking I ballooned up to 215! After three big efforts I managed to dump that, thank goodness, but I keep trying to get my waist back down to 30" where it used to be years ago. I've got some skirts I'd love to wear again. I need to reach 140 to do that, but so far no luck.

Hi Everyone
Nice to hear that I?m not the only taller one, I?m 6 ft 3 inches, working on losing some weight but let?s just say I?m north of 225...
was right around 200 in my younger days.
I also take heart when I see some taller women, makes me think I could blend in - if I stick to flats!
Hardest part though is finding nice shoes - because along with the height it means my female shoe size is 15-16, kind of limits the choices.

A woman I work with is at least a few inches taller than me and I often see women my own height (I work at an airport).
The tallest woman I have ever seen was over 7 feet tall.
For those people outside of the UK commonwealth countries who might not be familiar with netball, it is mostly played by women (one of the few sports where women are the superstars and men struggle for recognition) but not exclusively by any means but pretty much all the players at the elite level, are my height or taller. I saw the state team come through at work one time and all of them were my height. The tallest players are around 6 foot 6.

I have recently turned 63. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and I am 13 stone (182 lbs) , size 18 UK dress size (bra 40 b or 40 c) and size 7 (UK) shoe (wide fit). I have stayed pretty much the same size for the last ten years. With a little bit of watching what i eat(no chocolate !) I can lose a stone (14lbs) if needed to.
EDIT !!! Change the above - I thought since others were saying they were "shrinking" over the years I should check given i have never checked since i was 18. Well I am shrinking as well. Exact height is 66.5 inches so i have lost half an inch. I understand it is caused over the years by your spine getting a bit more curvy caused by age and gravity.

When I was younger, 180.0 cm. Now, I have shrunk to 176.5 cm. That is a hair?s breadth under 5/11 shrunk to 5/9.5. My father shrank from 181 cm down to 167 cm. He died rather young so his shrinkage was not as bad as it could have been. I am doomed if I stick around for much longer.

To everyone that wants to lose weight; Stop eating sugar, white flour, and all processed foods, you will lose weight even with no exercise.
I lost most of my fat, by simply eliminating all liquid calories. All I drink now, is water. Then, gradually eliminated most carbohydrates, like Dr Atkin's diet books say. The weight is still coming off, I'm down from 360 to 240. Taking the weight off slowly, seems to be allowing the skin to adjust, so I hopefully won't have loose, baggy skin in the areas where the fat is coming off.
6'4" tall, 37" sleeves, 36" inseam on the pants.
Blessed/cursed with: Gynecomastia, 46B breasts, and quite small male genitalia. Made gym class in school a living hell, but is nice being able to fit into girl lingerie.
But the biggest problem, is my feet: Shoe size 16EEEE. I have to be careful out in the woods, or I'll be mistaken for sasquatch.

I'll just say it once. You don't need a special diet. Keto, Vegan, only eating during fasting windows, whatever - it honestly doesn't matter.
All that matters is calories in/calories out.
Burn more than you take in, and you will lose weight.

Agree 100%.
I call it the math diet. 3,500 calories equals one pound. Consume 3,500 calories less than your body uses, lose a pound (and unfortunately, vice versa).
Diets are 99% marketing and maybe 1% science. There is no scientific evidence that one diet works vis-a-vis any other diet.

Actually looking to gain weight. HRT's got me softening and curving in places I'd like, and my mind's eye has always seen me as a fuller-figured woman.
I'd like to settle in at about an 18ish in most women's sizing, and well-built for it.
I would like to say to all my taller friends here: if you like the heels, wear the heels. I always say "at 6'4, I'm very tall for a woman; what difference will a few more inches make?" People will notate our height no matter what, and nothing we can do will make us shorter. We've got the passage of time and that's it. Don't shrink yourself from the moment. <3

JennI have two GG friends. One is 6’2 and admits to 190lbs. The other is 6’1 and likely weighs over 200 lbs (she works out a lot so a lot of that is muscle.
I want to go out with them (their husband/boyfriends are huge) so I can see what it feels like to be Petite! Relatively....

I'm 5'9" and 185. I've lost quite a bit of weight over the last year, and I'm looking much better in tight dresses. I can carry more weight than most people my height because I don't have a neck which makes my shoulders higher. I also have wide chest and shoulders. Nevertheless, I'd like to lose about 10-15 more pounds to enhance my feminine figure.
You can eat anything you want and lose weight. Just don't eat very much of it. Try cutting your portions in half, and don't eat when you're not hungry. It worked for me.

I'm 5'10'' and 170 pounds. I don't have muscular arms at all, and my legs are defined but not overly muscular, so those might be able to pass. Actually, I love my legs. The problem is my shoulders are a little broad, so I'm trying to explore ways to limit that. Certain dresses obviously don't work. I also think I would look better at 160 but I love red wine too much lol.
My dress size is usually an 8 or 10 depending upon the label and how tight I want it. Shoe size would be size 10 women's, and most of my heels are 3-4 inches. Gotten really good with some of them prancing around the house!
