Underdress at work

This may be a repeat post however I?m new here and have not yet read every post, so if I?m repeating I apologize. I?m in the military and I underdress most of the time (depends on the schedule). I was just wondering who else underdress at work. I know there must be a lot of us. I do it for a few reasons. 1. It?s who I am and it makes me feel warm and comfortable all day.2 perhaps a little excitement to keep a secret from my colleagues 3. I am Katey and I want to be her as much as possible. Kudos to you, Katey! I don't think I could have pulled off underdressing when I was active duty, but that was a long time ago.
Now, I wear panties every day and bras as often as I can. As you said, that depends on my schedule.

I was never in the military, but I made it a policy never to let my gender issues leak into my work life, mainly because of the politics of the places I worked. My co-workers could be merciless to anyone who let eccentricity show.

I also underdressed when I was living off base and had to drive onto the base during working hours.
When at my apartment, off base, I often went out at night dancing as Candice in a skirt & heels.
Being in the Navy, when I had to transition to the ship I couldn't CD, no fun.
So I understand that thrill and CDing is a wonderful stress reliever.
I still under dress most days as I am retired.

I underdressed on occasion in the military. And got discovered by another's girlfriend, who was doing laundry. She never said anything to me or anyone else as far as I know, but it was quite uncomfortable.

There are more androgynous items you can wear. What gender black briefs are made for isn't that obvious from more than a few feet away.

Haven't worn mens underwear for years so yes I underdress at work, bra and panties daily, even before the COVID situation.
I used to underdress when I was in the Navy as well, couldn't when we wore our whites obviously, but in my cracker jacks, johnny cash's and dungaress - yes I did.

I was Navy, submarines, so it just wasn't in the cards. At the time I was in, with the clearances I held, any indication I was a CD was grounds for removal from the Force. Later in life ... much later, as a civilian, I occasionally undressed for a year, but it was only hose. Still ... it was a massive stress reliever. You are lucky to be young at a time when the stigma is reduced somewhat. Still, be careful ... the haters are out still out there, and you want your time in the service to not be marred by some jerk who thinks they need to make a point. Thanks for what you do everyday. It may not feel this way right now, but you will look back on these days as some of the most honorable contributions you made to our society.

As someone who was on a Navy ship in the early 70?s I can?t imagine underdressing in the military. At least in my day the coups consisted of seventy racks stacked three high. Getting dressed consisted of standing in the passageway between racks. Clothing was kept in a small locker under the mattress that was hinged and propped open when in use. Zero privacy but I assume that is not your situation.

Panties all the time, no male underwear. It helps that the restroom in our office area was a single person room.
The best bra I found is a Bali Women's Comfort Revolution Easylite Seamless Wireless Bra. It lays absolutely flat on your body and yet provides some support and flattening. No one will ever know you’re wearing it if you wear knit polo shirts. Dress shirts would have to be opaque.

I was also in the army. It was impossible to underdress there, because we all dressed openly in our barracks rooms. I switched to panties 24/7 almost 8 years ago and have about 100 pairs. Since then I have gradually swapped out my male clothes for female clothes as items became worn and needed to be replaced. I have now gotten to the stage that the female clothes are also now being replaced for more female clothes as they have worn out.

Before working from home became a daily occurrence, beneath my work uniform I underdressed in panties, vest and socks all from the women"s side of the aisle for years and in very cold would add tights to keep warm. I would usually choose a larger type pair of knickers for comfort and warmth in the winter and more often than not would be a plain cotton pair.

Working from home has brought a more relaxed "dress" code and I usually start my working day in a nightie, panties and fluffy dressing gown. If there's a Teams meeting using the webcam then it's a case of straight leg jeans and a plain t shirt.

During my time in the Army I had to be very careful, wearing a nomex flight suit for most of my time in the Army didn?t help much either because you can see what people are wearing underneath. One of my pilots asked me once if I were wearing panties under my flight suit, when she saw the fear in my eyes she asked me to look at her butt and could I tell what type of underwear she was wearing. All I asked was if I was in trouble. She said no, but I should be more careful, and thankfully you were not wearing a bra...

Yes it is possible to underdress while serving, you know your job and the people around you. If anything happens to you they will be the first responders. . .

I wear panties every day. A few years ago I was helping a coworker setup her new computer and crawled under her desk to plug it in. When I stood up she had a shocked look and was actually blushing. She never said anything but I think my panties might have shown between top of my pants and pullover sweater I was wearing. Before you run off to work in a bra and panties, think about your work, what you do and the chances of someone noticing your bra and panties. And think of what might happen if someone notices.

If you're working at Walmart, it probably wouldn't matter much but if you have a career or are in the military and stuck with the same co-workers for a while, it could be embarrassing or worse.

It's all panties for me, although my wife insist I keep some of my male underwear "just in case." Sometimes I will wear nylons under my pants while at work. Thankfully I now work in an office environment when we can return to working in an office. I recently started wearing bras as a daily item. I've always had a problem finding one where the straps will stay on my shoulders. Wife says my shoulders are too broad and I need to tighten the straps, but that hasn't worked. My assessment is every time I move my arms, it causes my shoulders to "work" the strap down a bit each time until it slips off. The work around has been to get bras what have racer back. Haven't had an issue with any bras that have this style. I've got some sissy lace bras to match my lace panties and a couple of sports bras.

When I was still working which was before discovering this site I did wear panties on occasion to work. Nylon panties. Basically, I forgot I was wearing them until I had to use the restroom. Then, wearing panties became an annoyance. I figured if I forgot I was wearing them it became "what's the point?" After I retired I did find this site and read many posts of underdressing. Alright, let's give it a try, again. As a retiree with a working wife I decided, if I was going to underdress, go all the way. In the fall and winter I'd don a bra padded with Nerf balls cut in half, a camisole, panty, garter girdle holding up either stockings or thigh highs. I did give pantyhose a whirl too, but, that was really a pain using a restroom. It is easier to wear a panty one size up and a garter girdle. Again, it did nothing for me, but, become an annoyance when using the restroom. Most days I do wear a Vanity Fair nylon panty; either style 15712 or 13109.

Monica, I have found a way to keep my head "in the game" in a DADT is to "collect" panties. I collect current and vintage panties of the three Vanity Fair panty styles I like: style 13001 (40 colors), 13109 (89 colors) and 15712 (129 colors). Some think I may be crazy, but, hey why collect postage stamps made to adhere to letters and packages? :)

I only have women's panties in my drawer, have not worn men's boring stuff since before I married my wife 20+ years ago... started in high school (graduated in '86) ... anyways I only "work" a "real" job in winter as I am a homesteader in summer.. pretty much doing gardening and caring for chickens, bunnies etc in sexy panties usually lace thongs and short shorts with no show socks and pink FILA sneakers usually a cami or tank top or even a skirt outfit.. however my winter work is running a ski lift and am out in the cold everyday and my uniform is ski pants, you never know what I may be wearing under it.. when cold, always a synthetic base either flowered or hot pink with (cotton kills) at least a pair of pink yoga pants/leggings over and I found a hot pink zebra print pair of sweats for extra cold days... hot pink synthetic socks on feet and wool if real cold but my Sorrels (boots) are warm enough to just use cute base socks.. I have several pink synthetic long sleeve Vneck tops my wife got from running 5Ks with her work logo or breast cancer fight type logos! Over that is always a tight synthetic turtleneck and my latest fave is a hot pink bodysuit turtleneck , over that a sweater of some sort and a hoodie supporting our local freestyle jumper who was in Olympic Winter Games! I have a black baseball cap with ski area logo and now being required to wear face covering I have a "pink wave" neck gaitor and a "orange wave" backup and several pink tie die ones.. I let my mid back long brown hair flow out in the breeze.. everybody thinks it's cool!! When skiing I wear hot pink ROXY ski pants and my freestyle team jacket or I just got a pink wave ski jacket with a hot pink wave on top and a white (white scares me as it won't stay white long🤣😉) wave and a black wave at bottom.. I gave up on trying to find boring neutral colors or guys ski stuff and just go full bore ladies!!! Everybody loves that I am not ashamed or worried about wearing pink stuff and think moreguys should.. I never really tell anyone I try to be manly😂 That's my General guy mode stuff!! I used to when I was younger, and didn't have much to wear and few opportunities to be by myself and dress up (living at home or being in the dorm at college etc). But now I find that I can't just wear panties under my normal clothes--I either have to dress up all the way or not at all. And when I say all the way that doesn't always mean miniskirt and pumps, sometime just lounging around the house, especially in these winter months I enjoy leggings, fluffy knee high socks and a warm top over bra and panties.

Underdressing does have some utility for me though. If I'm going to meetup with someone and they prefer I do not arrive already dressed up, I wear as much as I can underneath street clothes so I can do a quick "superman phone booth transformation."

I am an under dresser as well. Mostly a bra, panties and a camisole. It becomes second nature to me. Besides I have so many pretty things if I do not under dress I would be able to get to them all. Under dressing is never as good as a full dressing day but then again its not bad. I cannot under dress at work as I work at a facility that has metal detectors and my bra hooks and underwires would potentially set them off.

Thinking this through, I'd say you'll get away with panties and knickers no problem.

Tights definitely though you need to be careful in the bathroom department. It's always going to be a cubicle to go.

Stockings and suspenders or hold-ups, thick fabric is going to be needed with trousers to cover up bumps. Jeans should cover up everything though and with either (as opposed to tights), you should be able to do a stand up job in the bathroom.

In both cases, sock need to be considered to cover the ankles though high denier could be passed off as socks if the right colour.

You should also get away with slips an camisoles as long as you're wearing a thick top or shirt. Very thin fabric shirts will need to match as regards colour to fend off the more eagle-eyed.

Bras as per some suggestions are risky even with the thickest fabric tops. Thin fabrics will definitely not cover up straps and outlines and there's always the workmate who likes to give you the firm pat on the shoulder.

Beyound that, you'd better consider coming out. :)
