I seem to have a wonderful fun time with some of the French people I know. Today was no different. The lass that runs our local post office also sells very well made greetings cards, needing one I went there this morning. As is usual I put my mask on which this time round has got a dog's nose with a big pink tongue hanging out !!
Going inside I nalso saw my regular post lady. They both greeted me in French I replied "WOOF" we all fell about lauhging. I then looked for a card and saw one with a lovely frog on it. I picked it up, showed them and said " I used to be like this until I was kissed and look at me now"
More laughter followed by the reply of " No you have always been like you are now"!!!!
It made my day I can tell you

YAY!! A happy & fun experience! :yippee:
Oh, yeah... Definitely have to have a sense of humor about all this.
If you, the CD'er, can make playful light of it all? People (especially non-SO GG's) can latch on quickly, join in & just roll with it.

Bobbi, Good for you. You're lucky, the women at my local post office is the most dour individual I have ever come across.

Hi Bobbi, We have been friends since I joined here and I know your sense of humor. This is vintage Bobbi and everyone smiling and laughing is nothing new. Thanks, now we all get to smile some which everyone knows is something we all need more of.

Sure sounds like you and the people in your places you know are such nice folk.
Cherish these day as they are the making of great memories! :o

I am very fortunate with having good neighbours and generally and nice ones further afield. The post lady who used to come before my present one was a miserable so and so but the one I have is like a breath of fresh air and has no gripes at all with my dressing? neither do a lot of people for that matter.
I do think as time goes by that the life of a CD'er and for most everybody else is getting better.

I learned to laugh about my disability years ago.
I always had pleasant interactions.

Hi Bobbi, That is a hilarious story. And you certainly brought in a good bit of joy to the post office scene. And it ends on such a wonderful and uplifting note of acceptance. Very uplifting, for sure.

Gretchen, Thank you,
I do like to make the most out of life and if one has had the life I have had a good laugh now and again goes a long way. I very much doubt this will be the last of my "dressing laughs" because I do have a good sense of humour.
Dressing should be a fun without being outrageous.
