Today I drove to my second home and I decided that Natalie should drive. I did not want to get to the home too early so I decided to shop at Macy's.
I picked up a nice black dress on super sale and a nice top.

It was a lot of fun.

I miss our shopping trips to the malls and Macy's.
They usually had some good bargains. We also had a Lord & Taylor and they too had great sale racks and I think better quality clothing.

Those were the days....LOL

Wedges can be a comfortable alternative to high heels.

Yes it’s surprising how far you have to walk when shopping. It seems like a good idea when you set off from the car clicking along in heels but you soon regret it! Lucky you being able to shop. We have another couple of weeks to wait here in UK.

Being out as yourself and doing everyday things is such a nicer way to get them done. And I'm getting to appreciate flats and low wedges more and more.

Sounds like a good time, but I can relate to the shoe problems. I have some shoes which look very nice on me but I will not wear them when I know I will have extensive walking to do. I only have 3 pairs with heels over 3 inches that I find very comfortable, so I end up wearing those a lot when I go out. The ones I have gotten from torrid were actually too wide. Sigh.
