When I'm dressed, I've found my SO is increasingly taking on a traditional masculine, dominant role. She sits on the couch with her belly hanging out, farting, burping, and scratching herself while she watches HER TV shows (mine are too feelings-based). Frequently (as in constantly), she orders me to make her food or bring her sodas. She tells me to "Can it, Pickleschlitz". And occasionally, she mutters about how her coworkers can perform a certain intimate act on her (one usually done to men).

I've decided to refer to her as "Earl" when she acts like that.

Anyway, I figure that it is all in grand fun except it really bugs me that Earl can't be bothered to take a darn dish to the sink once in a while.

I'm not sure if this is parody and a bit, but whatever it is, it made me smile!

Hard to speculate as to what is going on there. It could be revenge through acting classic gender binary style to give you a taste of what some women have to put up with. Maybe trying to swing the pendulum back to a more traditional gender relationship at the extreme. Maybe she is saying, "If you are going to play the girl part then I will hit you with what we women have to put up with sometimes." A reaction to your female-like identity portion by her acting male like. All speculation. If it is that then it is a bit of a unique approach.

I read some of your prior posts. It seems your girlfriend has decided to play along with your "role playing" and give you a dose of medicine of what many wives go through. You could always slap her upside her head with a frying pan. Watch out! She may get you a new vacuum for Mother's Day!

Love the increase in fetish oriented threads here. I think they add a bit of spice to our conversations!

Wow you must be the hottest couple in the Vermont area........

That's just as well. Vermont can be chilly. My wife and I skied Killington once. long ago. It was 10 below, plus wind chill. Froze our butts off. Place needs warming up a bit! ;)

Well, Becky, at least you've got an accepting SO... I think...

Becky, I can understand why it bugs you and really feel for you. I can't give any advice in the matter but for what's it's worth and if that is any consolation I absolutely love your forum name.

Howdy Neighbor!

Love your story! I guess your wife is of the mindset if it's okay for you to act like a girl then it's okay for her to act like a guy. Either that or there's something in the water here. I'm definitely the more feminine one in the relationship. Anyway, it's all in good fun.
