So, my wife an I are already working on our Halloween costumes for this year. Yes it is early, but I have learned the hard way that if I wait some important part is bound to be screwed up. So last Saturday I received my new wig and tried it on. I am dressing in a vintage looking 50's dress an all the accessories (https://recollections.biz/victorian/120950-1.html). The wig is a Betty page style an very cute. As I am looking at myself in the mirror I realize that I have all of the necessities to dress up for a Pin-up style photo session. The right hair, corset, seamed stockings, etc... I mention this to my wife and tell her that I may just do so. Her response floored me. She said that while that may be fun, she would not be comfortable in snapping the photos herself due to her lack of camera knowledge, and that I should consider using the professional photographer that took my Halloween photos last year. Who is this woman that is impersonating my wife? While I am overall supported in my dressing it has also always been mostly private. Now she is okay with me going out to a pro studio and having my photos taken by someone else (even if we consider her a friend)? Wow. I now need to decide if I want to go this far. I will be for all intents outing myselfm but what an opportunity.

Happy for you Kimmy. Are you living in a little town where people could recognize you? The photographer can probably arrange for the session to be private (no other customers around) and a pair of sunglasses should be enough to arrive there incognito :)

Smaller. Truthfully, if my friends (and co-workers) have not figured it out already.... And I can wear "normal clothes" over the undergarments on the way there.... If the photos end up decent I am likely to show them off, and thus raise eyebrows. O would be past caring if I were not worried about embarrassing my wife.

Kiss your wife and send her flowers or jewelry or both! She is a treasure! The dress is gorgeous too. What color are you going to wear? Remember we would love to see some pics from the photo shoot.

You might as well do the photo shoot because when you show up at Halloween wearing that amazing dress and "the right hair, corset, seamed stockings, etc." you will be outing yourself no matter how you try to laugh it off, assuming you're around friends, family and/or acquaintances. That was my personal Halloween experience may years ago when I was way less "professionally" made up than what you will be wearing. It didn't stop me from going out, but I now only go out to larger cities at least an hour away.

Sounds like good friends. I didn't hear it from my friends either. I heard it from people who weren't even there, who heard it from my friends.
