Just want to express my thoughts on the upcoming season. A month or so ago I found some great advice in one of the threads regarding going out. In the past I have always gone to a motel, and not that often because of expense, to dress, and then rarely gone out. But someone suggested getting dressed at home except for wig and lipstick and driving a short way from home and finishing the transformation process. This opened my eyes and the door to three or four outings in the last two months. I am a new person because of this. I have posted some threads about these experiences, but that is not why I am writing now. With the weather getting warmer it is more difficult to wear something over my femme garb while exiting the house. And also with the weather changing it is more likely that someone in the neighborhood will be outside. So, my outings in the near future are probably finished until the fall. In addition to that my summer dressing is nearly non-existent. My wife works in the school system and is thus off for the summer and since she doesn't know about Miranda I have to go into hibernation except for that rare occasion where I can steal an hour or so here and there to slip into some panties and pantyhose. So I lament the oncoming warm weather and wonder if there is anyone else in a similar situation, and how do you deal with it. Since I have grown so much since joining this forum, and been out so many times, the thought of two to three months abstaining is not at all a pleasant one.

My situation is different than your's in that my GF knows and accepts my CDing. As for the question of dreesing for the warmer weather, I just do what GGs do. Halter tops, short skirts, sandals, etc.

P. S. I do not have any desire to go anymore.

It's past time to have the talk. Sooner is better than later. Telling her is better than surprise discovery.

Summer is the time of year that is least conducive for me to get totally dolled up and go out. The work schedule becomes intense leaving little free time and the work environment is such that I'm hesitant to keep my legs shaved. I do keeping shaving my "pits", and most of my body though.

During the long stretch from early May until Labour Day Debbie mostly stays on the shelf. Top Shelf of course! Fortunately there is still a good month of fun ahead!

I find that when winter is about to arrive I feel happy that I'm going to be spending plenty of time in soft cashmere cardigans and jeans. :) Similarly, when summer is about to hit (especially living Californina) I know I'm about to spend at least 6 months in girly shorts t-shirts and saltwater sandals :)

....and guess what?... both examples of what I have written is what I wear in "girly guy mode". If we're talking en femme then my summer wear is almost the same except for my shorts are short skirts and my sandals have heels. :)

With the kids up later at night in the summer, there is no time to be alone and dress....July and August will truly be the pits.....unless of course their mom takes them away to visit grandma for a week !!

I too dread summer, not just because of the mandatory male shorts and the fuzzy legs but in the winter you can wear much more female clothing. LOL But I let my legs fuzz up a little, enough to appear maleish. But I bleach the leg hairs with blonde haircolor as I do my forearms. This makes them almost invisible under hose. And when I go out on an enfemme business trip in the summer, its usually in the evening after a hard day crawling around a coal mine or two!! So maybe not as much fun as in the winter, still no reason to stop for 3 months!!!!!

Why not just keep the legs smooth? A lot of guys shave their legs, for various reasons.

I actually prefer summer. Since it's warmer i can walk around outside (at night) without a jacket on. Whether i'm en-femme or not. :D

In the summer I find that a wig, pantyhose, girdle and all my femme outfits are just too hot and uncomfortable. I tried to go bare-legged a few times but I feel my legs look simply AWFUL without hose. My neighborhood also gets very noisy during the summer and when I would try to dress I always felt a bit "uncomfortable" hearing people milling about outdoors.

Living out of town helps loads, also not having young children anymore. I can just tell the daughter " NO I don't want the kids this weekend". So it's nice anytime of the year. The only thing about summer and dressing is the Wigs. So I dash to the Car with it cooled down by the remote start kit. That seems to work well. Also going to meetings in Hotels helps, being air conditioned and all. Oh and I love wearing Halter top dresses.

I realize this may be easy for me to say this but I think you should have the talk with your wife. I don't know your situation but it sounds like you need and are wanting to let your femme side out more and more. I can speak from experience that it is very unhealthy emotionally to keep such a big part of you completely closed up. Maybe your next step is to tell your wife. I wish you luck.
As for hairy legs...my salon lady who does my waxing has told me many times that more and more guys are coming on to get waxing. Legs, arms, chest...etc. I think its becoming more acceptable for guys to rid themselves of their body hair. To me, its having the self-confidence to say this is who I am and it is my personal preference to wax my back, chest, pits, arms, legs... no matter my reason. It took me a long time to reach this point but finally did it. Many in this chat room helped me with this......Thanks!

Take Care,
Michelle

First of all, look at what I think, the horid things woman have done to their
body. My exdaughter-in-law was riddled with tatoos. Now I'm not saying
for a woman to have a tatoo is wrong if it attracts to her femininity but you
as a male would look ok, ugly but ok. So what's wrong with getting rid of
body hair? This summer, I will put on my female bathing suit, sit by the pool and stay hydrated. I will wear a short wig since long wigs cause more perspiration. That's the only difference; the weather is warmer. Based on
what you have said, you should really have a talk with your wife and allow
yourself to be who you are. Which is more important: what people think or your own personal happiness? It takes a lot of courage to dress and go out
in public. Muster up that same courage and talk to your wife. I'd bet that
your wife, if she loves you and does'nt want to lose you, would be more accepting of your being pretty than 20 ugly tatoos riddled all over your body.

Hey Penny, I've got 5 tattoos now, gonna get another one soon, and I'm proud of them. I make no effort to hide them, and they certainly don't make me feel any less feminine when I go out.

Summer is my favorite time for dressing. It's miniskirt and short shorts season! I do love the feeling of the evening breezes in a skirt. I'm like Audrey, my legs probably look better in hose, but gosh it feels so much better without them. I've been losing weight, and this year I am getting that tan - even if it's from a bottle!

i kinda agree, summer is kind of a bummer if you want to go outside.

During the winter months, I found I was able to go out a few times, and being cold I wore one of the wife's heavier jacket and it does cover my 'figure' so from behind, it does look like a real woman. But with summer, it looks rather strange walking around in a heavier jacket and there are more people out walking their dogs and such.

Wow! As usual here, I find I am not alone! I thought I was the only one dreading Summer. Worried about my shaved legs, mostly. Kids are home more, stay up later, neighbors are out more, seem more nosey, my parents visit more . . .Summer is tough.

I've told my wife about my feelings just about a month and a half ago, so this is my first Summer where I might not have to hide it as much. Reading some of these posts, I MIGHT just give the shaved legs a run for thier money and see how well they go over.

I'm going to try things this Summer that I am usually very safe about because I have my wifes consent and support. It should be an interesting Summer.

i love the summer months much better as you get to wear short skirts and dresses not having to wear pants due to the cold weather how can anyone like the winter no lounging around the garden with the bbq on and friends round for a drink or two.
i am lucky as i now live in the caribean on my sail boat and dress as i like all the time everone knows i like girls clothes and no one is bothered whichis great. so summer is great but i have to say i like winter clothes some of the time.
